SLIDEs
The slides MUST be closed prior to moving the 5th wheel any distance. Before extending the slide ensure the 5th wheel is level and the wheels are properly blocked.
WASTE TANKS
The RV Must be returned with the Black and Gray Water tanks emptied.
While you are camping or parked in a place where there are sewer hookups, there are some Best Practices we ask you follow that will prevent solid waste from accumulating in the tank and also prevent unpleasant smells from occurring. The first rule of a Black Tanks is to let them act as a tank. DO NOT LEAVE BLACK TANK EMPTY OR HOOKED TO SEWER WITH WASTE VALVE OPEN. Always allow black tank to get nearly full before emptying. After emptying the tank, add several gallons of water and 2 capfuls of the Black Tank Treatment that is kept under the sink in the bathroom.
MISCELLANEOUS
The ladder on the back of the rig is only to allow access to the roof for maintenance and/or repair tasks. Do not climb on the roof. A roof leak is expensive and hard to repair.
DROP OFF INSTRUCTIONS
Please inform us of your anticipated drop off time no later than one day before the end of your rental.
Please fill LP tanks prior to return. LP Tanks not filled will incur a $50 fee plus cost of fuel.
Please make sure Black and Gray Tanks are both emptied or you will incur an additional $75 empty fee. After black tank has been emptied please add some fresh water (via the toilet) and add 2 caps of the black tank treatment. This will prevent odors and also help any solids that may still be in the tank to dilute and be washed away in the next cycle.
Lastly, please be prepared to spend at least 30 minutes for 5th wheel walk around and paperwork on your return.
