We were first timers with an RV and needed a pet friendly host. Brian was lovely and generous with his time showing us the ropes. He was also responsive when anything went awry while we were on the road, and kind when we returned the vehicle with a some damage sustained on our last day on the road that required an insurance claim. 😬 Sorry again Brian. We travelled to Newfoundland and back and the RV engine and brakes held up throughout the long journey. In this respect the vehicle was very reliable. Some of the internal features (oven, microwave, curtains) and the awning weren’t working and we weren’t aware of that until picking up the vehicle the day before travel. In retrospect, I wish we had taken a look at the vehicle before renting and had a better appreciation of these things before starting out. We didn’t think of that, which is on us. We had a couple incidents of water backing up into the shower because the indicators in the RV about how full the tanks are also weren’t accurate. This was easily avoided by dumping more frequently. All in all, it was a great family road trip. It wasn’t a luxury experience, but I am
used to camping and I wasn’t expecting one. It might not be ok with others expecting more. We are glad to have had the opportunity for this family adventure.
