5We had a great time in this rig. We drove a lot on mountain highways and off the grid dirt roads. The truck worked great and the camper was great for what we needed. The truck has plenty of power and the four wheel drive came in handy on a couple roads that we got on accidentally. Some roads seem fine until you get a ways into it then you have to decide if it’s worth it or if it’s even possible to continue. Turning around in this rig is not easy when it’s a tight road but many point turns make it possible if you have a couple people watching out for you in the front and back. But that’s also to be excepted from a large vehicle with a camper that also extends the length by 2-3 feet. There was four of us. All adults except my 15 year old daughter. It was tight but that’s to be expected with a fifth wheel truck bed camper. Everything worked well on the unit and was clean and equipped nicely with everything you need for cooking in the camper plus a number of out door hot dog and snore making skewers. The only thing I can think that would be better would be better thicker blankets when it’s cold but then again most of us prefer sleeping with it cold but my one son doesn’t. Fortunately I had brought a wool blanket. Also we didn’t use the electric heater until the second to last night because it got really cold and snowed that night. So we could have used the heater and he would have been more comfortable but he didn’t speak up. For the warmer weather, what it was equipped with would probably be enough. Craig did a great job of explaining how to use all the parts of the rig. He was responsive and respectful to our questions and needs even late into the night when I was returning it way behind schedule. Fortunately I had paid for late return but still went way past that even. So he was great! I found the extra charge per mile (when you go over the limit of 100 miles per day total for the days you rent it for, which was four nights for us, so 400 miles) was reasonable and less than other rigs that I had looked at before finding and settling with Craig and Laura. Over all we really enjoyed our time with this rig and I have no complaints. We would definitely rent this rig again! Thanks again Craig and Laura!

5This was our first time in a camper (we typically car or tent camp) and this was the perfect compromise! The rig is easy to drive and its small enough that it maneuvers well. It was so nice to have the heater as it dropped into the 30s at night in the Rockies. It comes equipped with everything you need, i.e. fridge, stovetop, running water, dishes, and a super comfy bed! Craig even added extras like towels, hotdogs roasting sticks, bug spray, and a TV!

5Both the truck and the camper were in excellent condition. Craig and Laura are both super nice, and Craig gave a great tutorial on all the ins and outs of the rig. 1000% highly recommend a trip in Sasquatch!

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Our preferred pickup time is 7 a.m. We are quite flexible but find that many guests are eager to start their adventure early. As I work a typical 8-5 job, the 7 a.m. pickup works perfectly for us. This service is offered free of charge, but please remember to select it as an add-on.
