Frequently asked questions
Q.
What's the mileage policy?
A.
You get 100 free miles per day. Over that, it's $0.45/mile. If you're planning a bigger trip (PCH to Big Sur, Joshua Tree round-trip, or anything beyond a weekend), message me before booking and I can pre-arrange a higher mileage package that beats paying overage.
Q.
I'm flying into LAX - How does pickup work?
A.
The van is parked minutes from LAX in Lennox. After you land, grab a quick rideshare to me (about 10 minutes) for keys + walk-through. Or I can deliver the van to your hotel, Airbnb, or another LA meeting point. Message me for a delivery quote based on location.
Q.
Where can I take her?
A.
Anywhere in California, plus most of Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon. PCH, Big Sur, Joshua Tree, Yosemite - all good. No off-roading, no Mexico travel, no extreme weather routes. Festival-friendly (except Burning Man). Not sure if your route works? Just ask before booking.
Q.
I've never rented a camper van. Will I be okay?
A.
Welcome ☕. About half of my renters are first-timers, and they all come back smiling. At pickup, I do a full walk-through - driving, kitchen, indoor + outdoor shower, solar, etc. A printed manual stays in the van for reference. And I'm a text away the whole trip if anything comes up.
