There is a $6/day Hawaii state motor vehicle rental surcharge which goes to the state for all vehicle rentals.

4.0We loved our experience of renting the van and camping all over the island of Kauai! The van had everything we needed, and the THULE on top was great for storing our suitcases. It was decent on gas and easy to drive/park. The fridge was a great asset and allowed us to save money by stocking up on groceries. Jeremy was great to work with! He answered all of our questions before the trip and was super helpful while there. The outdoorsy app was a little finicky for us but overall good experience.
