2022 KZ Escape Hatch
Coast2CoastCamper Pet Approved Camper Rental-The Hatch is a brand new 22' ultra light travel trailer with a smidge of toy hauler mixed in. It has everything you need to enjoy your next vacation. With a 100-watt solar panel, this trailer thrives in the summer sun.The trailer has tons of storage, an 8cu ft refrigerator with separate freezer, 2 burner stove, deep sink, plenty of counter space and a large bathroom with a stand-up shower. The hatch at the end of the trailer opens up to add abundant fresh air or to allow easy access for bikes or small motorcycle (tie-downs hooks embedded in the floor). This rugged trailer is just as happy traveling on the dirt road in the wide open terrain as it is parked at an RV park.Camper Pick Up Time: 3PM
Camper Drop Off Time: 12PM
(these times are flexible so please contact us prior to pick up if you need to make changes)Please Note: It is the renters responsibility to return the camper clean and empty. If you are not hooking the camper to a proper sewer connection, it is your responsibility to locate a dumping station and dump the gray and black water prior to returning. There is a dumping station located at Country Bumpkins at the end of Maltais Farm road and we would be glad to show you the proper way to remove the waste water. If you are not hooked up to a sewer connection and would not like to deal with the hassle of emptying the campers gray and black water tanks there is an 'Add-on' for returning camper full and we will take care of emptying it for you. What's includedTrailer comes with everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors. Cookware, utensils, paper goods, and even some spices.I will include my 2" trailer hitch with anti-sway bars at no cost. Please NOTE: sheets and towels are not included. We DO however, have a linens 'Add-On' if you don't want to deal with your own linens.
Delivery and pickup within 50mi radius available upon request.RecommendationsIf you haven't floated the Saco river between Glen Ellis and North Conway NH - we highly recommend. There are several campgrounds on the Saco and there are a handful of rafting companies that can make the float more enjoyable.Diana's Bath and Cathedral Ledge are some favorite little hikes in the N.Conway area. We are currently working on our NH 48 4000' and 52 WAV lists so if you want other hiking recommendations please let us know!In the fall the leaf peeping here is epic. We highly recommend taking your family to Artists Bluff (across the street from Echo lake -- park there). It's a gradual hike that even Caryn's 83 year old father completed this year. The views are spectacular. And if you stay in the Lincoln, NH area, besides the hikes and great food, we recommend the Pemi river to cool off. Park at the Loon Escape Lot and walk west on the J.E. Henry trail. There are plenty of places to sit with chairs, eat, have a few drinks and cool off in the crystal clear Pemi river.Mountain biking at Loon and riding the new KANC8 is a blast! A gondola ride up Loon and Cannon is always a fun time. And don't forget about visiting the Basin, Flume Gorge, Lost River, and the famous bears at Clarks Trading Post. We love making recommendations so please reach out!Other things to notePets welcome!

We are avid outdoor enthusiasts. We love traveling and visiting new places. Our passions include (but are certainly not limited to) hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and playing with our two doodles. We recently bought the trailer after tenting it for years. We are excited to share this opportunity with all of you.

had some minor issues in the beginning but nothing we couldn’t fix or get through together! ron and caryn were amazing hosts, they responded almost immediately to my messages and their camper was incredible! it was the perfect amount of space for us and i adored it! i can’t thank them enough for letting us rent from them and for delivering it for us!

Ron and Caryn are awesome! The pickup and overview was super easy. Communication was great and Ron got back to me quickly with answers to any questions (which were few). The Escape Hatch is a a super cool little trailer. Easy to tow and easy to level. My teen and I had plenty of room turning the back section into a bed. We used the tables included every night. The trailer has solar panels that keep the battery charged, so even though we were boondocking for 5 days, we never ran out of power. Opening up the back hatch is terrific and lets plenty of breeze in. Overall a super amazing trip and I’m sure we will be connecting with Ron and Caryn and the Escape Hatch in the future!
