Our ‘Winnie View’ is a 2014 Winnebago View 24J on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The rig gets mileage in the low to mid-teens and is completely self-contained. There are three sleeping areas: 1) Full-sized overhead bed (49”x75”), 2) Back corner bed (49”x75”), and 3) Dinette conversion to 42”x74” sleeping area great for kids! Sleeping best for 2 adults and up to 3 kids. We have great photos for all three spaces for you to see. Also see the floorplan for how it all fits together. There is a generator to power heat pump for heating and cooling, and microwave and a fully equipped kitchen with LP stovetop and double sink. The refrigerator, freezer, and water heater are powered by LP or electricity. The Winnie is also equipped with NAV and entertainment system including radio, TV, DVD, and Bluetooth connection. There is a ton of storage accessible from inside and outside. We enjoy the conversation with you as we get a feel for who you are (as adventurers in our ‘home on wheels’) and you find out more about the rig and us (as your rig hosts and adventure telephone support team). We find setting scheduled times for pick-up and drop-off work best and require an hour to review and sign paperwork, tour how everything works, and possibly go for short road test. An inspection with you is completed at drop-off.Please note that our Winnie View is No Smoking. What's includedWe supply a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, serving utensils, plates, bowls, cup, glasses, and cutlery. Coffee maker and toaster. Small fan. Also supply four camping chairs.RecommendationsMaine is an incredibly rich and diverse place to adventure! We have ocean and mountains - sometime very close to each other! The forests are beautiful and hiking trails are abundant. Camden Hills State Park is nearby and a super place to basecamp in the midcoast area.We love the feeling of being on the open road and still being somewhat self-contained! Being able to stop at a roadside rest area and crank out a warm, yummy lunch is SO FUN!Other things to notePlease, no smoking.
Pets approved upon approval.
We ask that you suppy your own linens and towels (altho we can provide as an additional cost).
We do not charge an extra cleaning fee but do expect you to return rig as you found it. If rig is return messy, then we will charge additional fee.

Easy to drive and maneuver

Winnie is described as easy to drive for first-timers, even in cities, and handles well. It's clean, comfortable, and reliable, fully stocked with kitchen tools, comfortable beds, and a large fridge.

Very nice RV. It was very clean and in good shape. Matthew went over the whole vehicle with us and left a notebook with information that we might need in it. When we had something, we couldn't figure out, Matthew was just a phone call away. Would definitely rent from them again.

We had a wonderful second trip with Winnie this year, heading to Wild Acadia Camping Resort and hiking at Donnell Pond Public Land. Betcie and Matthew are so kind, attentive and easy to reach. Winnie is comfortable, with nearly everything you could need for your trip. Highly recommended!

We are a family of three: Matthew, Betcie and Ellie. We rented our RV from friends to a cross-country “COVID-19 isolated” adventure road trip to deliver our daughter to college in Colorado in late 2020. We fell in love with the rig and RV’ing in general – such a great way to travel! We decided to buy the rig and share it with others. It’s a blast and we hope you choose to take our Winnie View out for your own pandemic-safe memory-making trip!
