Accommodating and Responsive Owner
Zach is noted for being flexible with timing and accommodating schedule changes. He provides detailed, quick overviews, is responsive, and has great communication, making the rental process easy for renters.
Steady Drive, Slow Uphill
The van is well-equipped with amenities like a comfortable bed, mini fridge, coffee maker, and toaster. While slow uphill, especially on I-70, it performs well otherwise, is easy to drive, clean, organized, and cozy, making it ideal for mountain getaways.

5.0The van was exactly what we wanted. We were warned that it would be a little slow going up the hill on I 70 out of Denver and it was. However, the rest of the trip it performed beautifully. It was clean when we got it, the mattress and sheets were comfortable. Thankfully, it was not pristine, brand, new looking, or we would not have been able to relax and have fun camping! 😜 our host was easily accessible and very accommodating for pick up and drop off times.

5.0Zach was a great host! Communication was timely, and the van was spotlessly clean. I found that by turning off the AC and using the low gears performance on I-70 and passes such as Berthoud and Rabbit Ears improved quite a bit, so give that a try when you rent the van. Wow, the bed and pillows were super comfy, and the potty was very convenient and easy to use!

5.0Zach was super easy to deal with. Flexible on timing, detailed and quick overview, and super chill. Made it all easy for me. Like other reviewers said, you're not going to win a race up the hill, but you'll get there. Had everything I needed for a long weekend in the mountains.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What is the inverter and why is it in the van?
A.
The batteries store energy in DC and this powers most of the electronic in the van (lights, fan, fridge, USB outlets, water pump). The inverter converts DC power to AC power so that the stovetop and traditional "house" outlets are powered. There is a switch next to the battery monitor to turn on/off the inverter.
Q.
How does the toilet work?
A.
The toilet a composting toilet and is located under the bench seat. The cushion, bench top and front of bench are removable. Please keep solids in the back container and liquids in the front. The toilet paper is composting, please put this in the solids container. A vent van is always running and will pull smell and moisture out of the solids container.
