Provides detailed support & instructions
Miguel offers thorough walk-throughs, clear instructions, and is generally responsive for pick-up/drop-off. One guest noted issues with an unsecure drop-off lockbox and delayed response.
Easy to drive, high fuel consumption
The RV is comfortable, reliable, and simple to drive, offering good value and space for two. It includes a stove, but guests noted it's a gas guzzler and lacks built-in interior lights.

5.0We rented the The Boring RV for a desert camping trip and it was exactly what we needed for two people. Everything worked great and made the trip easy and comfortable. The owner was fantastic—he walked me through the van before I left and answered all my questions so I felt fully prepared. I’d definitely rent this again for my next adventure.

4.0Had a great time in SoCal with the Boring RV. The van is very comfortable and has everything you could want for a road-trip, camping vacation. Miguel was super helpful with pick up times and recommendations.

3.0On the whole the camper was good value for money. We had a fantastic time, there was a stove and some amenities provided and the camper had a really cute set up. The camper itself was really good value for money, however if you are going on a longer/ further out road trip please do note it is a gas guzzler and we spent $500 additional on gas for doing the max miles allowed over 7 days. I don’t think this reflects badly or anything, just a worthwhile thing to note! Whilst on the trip we added a Bluetooth cassette meaning people can now listen to their own music on road trips. The pillows are a bit past it, but are provided, and the blankets are incredibly soft and warm! Another thing to note is that pick up/ drop of is not in the greatest area of town, so if you can leave your possessions elsewhere before picking up and dropping off, and if you are a woman just be extra cautious. At drop off we were told to leave the keys in a lock box, however this lockbox was not locked when we got there and we didn’t want to leave the keys in an unsecured area. We didn’t get a response for a while, so had to speak to outdoorsy who informed us that if we left the keys elsewhere, we were liable, until they also couldn’t get ahold of the owner. This all wasted about 2 hrs of our day, but hopefully this will be sorted. All in all this was great value for money, all be it some small issues.
