2019 Roadtrek Simplicity SRT
This van is adventure ready! Whether you are flying in from out of town or you are a SoCal local looking for an outdoor excursion, all you need are your clothes, toiletries and a quick trip to the grocery store. Everything else is included. Plus, with a Dometic air conditioner and a propane furnace, you’re equipped for any climate. At just over 19 and a half feet long, it is a lot easier to drive than most RVs and it fits in a standard parking spot. The backup camera makes maneuvering a breeze. This Roadtrek is on the Ram Promaster chassis, which means it is easy to find a mechanic in the unlikely event of a mechanical problem. I found out the hard way that this is not the case with Mercedes Sprinters.Unlike most vans this size, it has a spacious 5 cu. ft. refrigerator (not a cooler sized fridge), an indoor shower and flushable toilet (not a cassette toilet that needs to be taken out and emptied into a public toilet). When an electric hookup is available, there is a 30 amp shore power line with a 15 amp adapter so you can stay powered up at the campground/RV park or you can just plug into a household outlet. There are 110v, USB, and 12v outlets throughout the interior to power up/charge your gadgets. When boondocking (no electric hookup), there is a 100W solar panel to keep the house batteries topped off, and a dedicated second alternator in case the sun isn’t out or you are under trees. Since this just needs the engine to idle to charge the house batteries, you don’t have to worry about a loud generator disrupting the quiet of nature. What's includedGENERAL

Keith was an amazing host and the van was great! Keith went into detail on how to operate things around the van and the van also had everything we needed for our off-grid adventure. Keith was also very responsive when i had questions. Overall a great experience and would 100% recommend!

Keith was an excellent host! He was very thorough and answered all our questions. We really enjoyed our trip to Joshua Tree from the LA area with his van. We camped during winter and with the evening temperatures dipping to high 30 degrees Fahrenheit and sudden rain / hail, we were thankful for all the amenities we had to keep us warm and dry.

This Rv has everything you want and more! Keith is a super friendly and knowledgeable guy. Took me through every detail before I left so I felt confident driving up and setting up when I got there! Made my birthday weekend all the sweeter. Would definitely rent again.

I had the best time touring California in this RV.
The ‘Beast’ was beautiful to drive and it had everything you could need.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I am pretty flexible with pick up and drop off times as long as the van isn't coming back from a rental the day before, or going out the day after.
Q.Can I leave my car parked in your neighborhood during my trip?
A.
You can leave your car parked in my neighborhood for 3-4 days without issue. There is a 72 hour parking limit, but it is rarely enforced. For longer trips, I would recommend getting a ride to pickup. Or I have also had guests leave their car keys with me. I am happy to move your car every 3-4 days if this is your only option.
