2021 Mercedes-Benz Metris Weekender
The "Weekender" is a 2021 Mercedes-Benz Metris. This van was converted by pioneer van restoration and rental company, Peacevans, out in Seattle. The Weekender is a perfect car for a weekend getaway or any road trip for those looking to travel in a reliable and safe camper van. This rig features a pop-top (rooftop) tent with a super comfortable bed and foam mattress. The rear bench slides back and forth as needed for space and even converts to a full sized bed with extra storage space underneath. Driver and front passenger seats swivel around to face the rear which gives the car a lounge feel. The car comes with an awning to roll out for when you need shade. Another valuable addition to this van is the built-in auxiliary battery. It powers multiple USB ports around the car, the refrigerator, additional LED lighting and last but not least it helps power the Webasto heating unit. The heater can run while the van ignition is completely shut off. This feature is a game changer for those looking to camp during cold nights in cold locations. In the rear of the car, near the hitch (which tows up to 5,000 pounds), you will find shore power and solar panel hookups. The van also has a portable refrigerator and 2 burner propane stove inside. There is even a real fireproof safe in between the two front seats to keep your valuables such as laptops or cell phones safe while you’re away from the van. This camper is super easy to drive! It feels just like a minivan so anyone can drive it. It is equipped with some cool tech like "active steering assist, active brake assist and distronic". This means the car has the ability to maintain cruise control at any speed and speed up/slow down and stop as needed. This super cool feature allows you to enjoy the journey that much more!

91 octane Gasoline ONLY! Please return vehicle with same amount of fuel as when van is picked up or simply purchase the fuel add-on option at checkout to avoid worrying about last minute fueling before ending your trip.
Always have at least half a tank for the night if you plan on using built in Webasto Heater, as it uses fuel from the tank to function. (Do not use Webasto heater in closed garage spaces.)
The awning must be opened with 2 people to prevent it from breaking. IT CANNOT SUPPORT ITS OWN WEIGHT. Someone must hold the awning up while someone else rolls out the awning with the tool provided and opens the legs.
Then person rolling out the awning will come around and open awning legs and tighten them before person holding the awning lets go.
When opening/closing Pop-Top Tent, please open a door or window for airflow, otherwise you will not be able to push the top open/closed.
THANK YOU for following these simple rules and helping us keep the van in good shape. We hope you have a wonderful trip!

Hi Outdoorsy family! My name is Harry and I'm a lover of nature and being outdoors. My family and I love camping and being amongst nature. One of my favorite trips I've been on was camping in Shasta Trinity area in northern California. I hope you enjoy my camper van as much as I do!

Harry and the van are excellent! Would rent the van again and would absolutely recommend to friends and family. Harry keeps the van stocked with amenities to make the trip smooth and easy. All features of the van worked and were easy to use.

I would definitely rent this van again! It was perfect from pick up to drop off. Harry thank you so much from me and my wife. We felt like we where at home all weekend even when out on the road dives perfect and inside is so roomy. The fan and electric ice chest was a life saver for the 90% plus heat thank you again Harry
