We had an incredible time in Maui! We have rented out Betty! We drove all around the island with her it was worth it! We went to north, east, west and to Hana! Thank you to North Shore Vans for the service, the Van was waiting for us at the shop when we arrived. The shop is located Just few minutes from airport Quick check in & check out that was perfect! Traveling with Betty was amazing! Everything in the van was extremely well thought out; from the dimmable solar lights, blackout window coverings, a large amount of storage, sink to use for basic hygiene, charging station, fan above the bed, lockbox storage for keys, bluetooth device to connect phones for music/maps while driving, and sufficient camping gear. We found the bed to be very comfortable. As it is an older vehicle; the brakes take longer to stop, and the steering wheel is a little shaky. Just something to note if you are not a comfortable driver. Communication with NSV before and during our stay was A+! Prompt responses & very helpful. Thank you Emily for helping us prepare for our stay. Naro (operations manager) thank you for meeting us, walking us through step by step how to make the most out of the van, and our stay in Maui. We were also given an extra blanket to use while camping on the mountain of Haleakala. We fell in love with the island (and betty). Van life is easy when you are in paradise. The best part is that you have everything you need with you at all times! No need to waste time thoroughly packing a day bag. Weather can change quickly, so you can easily grab what you need accordingly. If I could make any suggestions for the future; adding an interior handle to close the side door while in the van would be great! It was difficult to close properly without. Lastly, perhaps a couple of hooks in the van to hang wet bathing suits, towels, etc. This is not a problem if you are parked in the sunshine as you can dry things outside. We, unfortunately, had several days of rain which made this difficult. And if you are on the road often for majority of the day also poses a challenge for hanging items to dry outside. These are very minor issues, we just thought it would be worth mentioning because it was what we noticed could be helpful! If you are planning a stay in one of the vans, we would recommend bringing with you: a headlamp or flashlight (to use for cooking, walking, etc at night), beach towels (shower towels are provided), snorkel gear, bluetooth speaker, and if you like to spend time outdoors after sunset.. ambiance lighting. We brought string lights and a lantern to play cards at night. Truthfully, an unforgettable trip! Thank you again everyone from NSV!!!

Great van! This was our first “vanlife” experience and loved it. Owners of the van communicated well and delivered the van to the airport, pickup and drop off was very convenient. Highly recommended.
