Our vintage motorhome is a pleasure to drive, its interior is all original and in very decent shape. In the back there are two bunks, with the bottom bunk pulling out to make it a double! Above the cab bunk is also very comfortable and clean kids love climbing up there. If your having guests the dinette folds down to a comfy bed as well, sleeping 6 cozy campers.Inside also has an excellent working fridge, stove, microwave and is full of most of the utensils and cook ware you will require. The bathroom is cozy with a newer toilet and working shower if required but we generally keep the shower for washing off feet and such. Also water heater system and furnace to keep you warm if the nighttime temps get too cold, but we have never had to use it.Outside are the power and water hook ups, awning and storage for games and propane tanks , BBQ and spare wheel.
What's includedWe can supply :
Blackstone griddle for cooking
Camping chairs (1x double chair, 2x regular chair, 2x kids chair)
fire pit
roasting skewers
fresh towels
toilet paper
If anything is required above this we can have it ready upon pick up but we generally find people get what they need on their way up Island.
RecommendationsWe have made several camping trips around the Island, Coombs Country campgrounds is our favorite but there are many more to see on the Island.
Also spending the day at Esquimalt lagoon and soaking up the sun with somewhere cozy to retreat to.
Other things to noteThis is an older unit, has a large 460 CI. engine so it can be thirsty on gas.
We ask no smoking cigarettes at all in the vehicle.
Pets are welcome under 50 lbs, they need to be able to sleep somewhere too.
Sorry no festivals, the damage deposit would have to be astronomical.

Meet your host, Michael

Member since 2022

My wife (Heather) and I (Mike) have two lovely kids aged 4 (boy) and 8(girl), they love travelling in the moho and our dog Otis does to.
We look forward to getting to our destination and quickly setting up thanks to the convenience of the moho. We are ex-tent trailer owners and love our upgrade and we hope you do too.

When you rent a 1987 RV, your expectations are quite low, but this one raised the bar really high! Great service, great truck, like in the good old days!

Absolutely worth booking! Great service by Michael. All we needed for our week around the island was provided for. We had a wonderful time in his well-maintained RV full of character.

We had an absolute blast (from the past) camping up Island at Englishman Falls and Little Qualicum in Mike's 1980s gem. There is the odd quirky characteristic that comes with this vintage and we fit 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 dogs comfortably for 4 days. 'Big Bertha' (as we called her) was a bit of a learning curve to drive but once we got the hang of it we were one with the road. Everything worked fine and the grill was an added bonus that we used every day. We will be booking Bertha again for our next family adventure.

Hosts were super responsive and accommodating. The rv was clean and comfortable. We had a really great 3 day trip and stayed warm and cozy camping in April.
