Teardrop trailer - fun, lightweight getaway!

This sturdy yet lightweight teardrop (we've named her Tabitha!) trailer can be towed by most sedans and is perfect for a quick weekend getaway, or if you’re a lightweight traveler, even the longer road trips! We’ve loved using this for family camping trips several times now.The inside of the trailer is like new and surprisingly roomy. Despite the small size, we are able to fit our family of 5 (our kids are all under 12 still) snugly around the dining table. Convert the table into a king sized bed, and even my 6'2" husband can sleep comfortably.Because of the trailer's extreme light weight aluminum frame, we've found our 15 year old Toyota Highlander has no problem towing. Any vehicle with a 2" ball hitch should be able to tow this weekend of fun no problem.Included in the trailer are a few extras: the integrated screens on the windows make keeping bugs out a piece of cake, and the electric fan in the ceiling vent keeps Tabitha cool even in the summer. The deep cell battery can run the minifridge and other small amenities for a short amount of time or for longer trips hookup sites with shore power are convenient. The range runs off a 30 lb propane tank, and the freshwater tank is provided full at the beginning of every rental. We hope you enjoy our teardrop as much as we do!What's includedIncluded:

Provided detailed helpful checklists

Lynette and Ethan are highly organized, offering comprehensive checklists, thorough instructions, and pre-trip walkthroughs. They are communicative, responsive, and supportive, even assisting with issues like lock-outs, and flexible with pickup/drop-off times.

Very easy to tow

The trailer consistently received praise for being easy to tow with various mid-size SUVs (Outback, CX-9, CX-5). It's clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with essential kitchenware (sink, stove, fridge), thoughtful amenities like s'mores, and good storage. It accommodates 2-3 people.

Lynette was great to work with. She has a great pre-trip checklist that she went over with us before we left and gave us to use before our return. The trailer was great. It pulled great with our 2024 Outback. It was a nice change from tent camping.

Lynette was very good to work with. She communicated clearly and had a comprehensive checklist for when we picked up the camper. We found the camper to be easy to tow and really enjoyed it's small size. It had all the kitchen stuff that we needed and we were able to cook our meals. Overall had a fantastic time!

Lynette was very clear and thorough on the instructions! This worked well for two adults and a toddler on the big bed. It was no problem to tow with our Mazda CX-9

We had such a great time with the trailer! As first-time towers, we really appreciated how thoroughly Lynette and Ethan walked us through everything—this gave us a lot of confidence. The whole trip went smoothly, and the trailer truly felt like a cozy home in the woods. Thank you, Lynette and Ethan, for being such wonderful hosts!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

Do you provide bedding?

A.

We do not provide bedding. The cushions lay down when the trailer is in the bed formation (versus the dining formation) and some people choose to bring their own topper and/or bedding. Personally, we just use sleeping bags on top of the cushions. Either way works!

Q.

Does the trailer have AC (air conditioning)?

A.

There is no air conditioning but the trailer does stay surprisingly cool between window shades, open windows and the ceiling fan.

Q.

Is there a heater in the trailer?

A.

We provide a portable heater that can be plugged into one of the outlets when the trailer is hooked up to shore power. However, even without the heater, the trailer stays quite warm when all the windows and ceiling vent are closed. We typically stay warm enough even with the windows cracked for ventilation.

Q.

Are there regular wall outlets in the trailer?

A.

Yes! There are 2 regular outlets in the trailer. However, the outlets do not work when boondocking (using only battery power). The trailer has to be hooked up to shore power for the outlets to work.
