Hygge comfort AND unlimited miles!
2006 Lance F450 Diesel
This truck-bed camper set-up (Lance and F-450 dually diesel truck) makes camping cozy and full of adventure! Hygge is Danish for cozy, comfort, and contentment, and this camper couldn’t be more hygge! As travelers, we know how limited miles (and budgets) can stunt a trip, so we offer unlimited miles and a decent price. We are big fans of furry co-pilots and going off the beaten path. This rig can match whatever type of camping you are planning. If you like campgrounds, it can do that! If you like secluded fire/access roads, it can do that! If you like super remote stays, it can do that! Traveling across states means accommodations are different, so we have equipped this rig with everything you will need. A rig like this is meant to see adventure, so take it on one!
Not familiar with this type of camper? No worries, we do a thorough walkthrough and make ourselves available through text or call 24/7.
Diesel, why??? Well, Diesel engines get better mileage when carrying loads like this.
For international travelers, we have hosted many of you before. We are 40 minutes from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. You are welcome to ship supplies to our home prior to your arrival. If you need travel to and from the airport just ask! We know traveling internationally requires preparation and planning, and we are happy to help!
What's included
The camper comes with an easy to use Honda generator in case you're an off-the-grid type of camper. A fully stocked kitchen with gas stove, oven, coffee maker, utensils, and cookware (minus a microwave, that has been removed). (We cook A LOT when we camp, so you will have everything you need!) A dry bath, shower, and toilet (meaning the shower is the only thing that gets wet). (We do not supply bath towels, so please bring your own.) Fresh linens for the full bed, but you can bring your own if you’d like. Outdoor table and chairs, so you enjoy the sites wherever you go! When the camper is returned everything is removed, cleaned, and sanitized.
Interested in adding one or two electric bikes to your rental? Ask us! We recently added this to our rig to allow us to park the camper and ride into town, and we are happy we did! Now towns are a short (and easy) bike ride away, allowing us to see the sites while our home is safely parked somewhere.
Recommendations
We have been a lot of places (a lot of road trips with this camper!), Utah is probably our go-to place to tell people to see, but it all really depends where you are headed. Let us know where you’re headed and we can give recommendations. We’ve been everywhere in this rig!
Other things to note
Please note: We provide insurance that covers you, us, and the camper, so don’t worry about buying Outdoorsy insurance. Ours is much better! Message us for more info.

Alex is a terrific host, always available for questions and super-helpful. It was a pleasure to rent from him.

This rig is perfect for what you pay. It is not a new camper or truck but everything works! The inside is a bit dated but the bed is comfortable.

My wife and I (and our dog!) couldn't be happier with our trip! The truck and camper are great, and Alex was always available when we were trying to figure out how things work or if we ran into any trouble. He clearly maintains the rig well. Highly recommended!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROVIDER. There is no option to deliver the vehicle to you, as advertised by Outdoorsy. And, you basically have go to his location, at his convenience to get the vehicle. I had a work emergency and could not pick up on the first day. I had to leave the next day in order to make it to my daugher's wedding and my non-refundable hotel reservation. It was very difficult reaching him and he was unable to provide the vehicle that day. I asked him to just cancel then. He said we would. Now, he wants to keep my money because of the cancellation policy. If you offer a service or product, and are unwilling or unable to provide that product, you should be willing to provide a refund. This rental cost me over a thousand dollars. I ended up having to take my minivan, which broke down on the trip. Outdoorsy customer service is a big let down as well. I don't recommend this service or this vehicle.
