• To ensure a safe trip and keep our classic vehicle running beautifully, all renters must agree to these rules before booking. Driving Guidelines & Low-Clearance Warnings Use Good Judgment on Unpaved Roads: While gravel and dirt roads are not strictly prohibited, please use extreme caution and good judgment. This van is not built for off-roading. The driver's side features very low-clearance septic plumbing that can easily be sheared off or damaged by rocks, deep ruts, or uneven paths. Stick to well-maintained, smooth surfaces. No Brockway Mountain: Driving up Brockway Mountain Drive or any steep, sustained mountain inclines is strictly prohibited. The engine can easily overheat under sustained, steep uphill loads. Stick to the scenic flat highways. Take It Slow: This is a classic vehicle. Do not exceed 65 mph on the highway. Accelerate gently, allow extra stopping distance, and take corners slowly. Respect its age and drive with care. Standard Rental Rules: No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking, vaping, or burning incense of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the campervan. A minimum 500 dollar professional cleaning fee will be charged if any odor or residue is detected. Empty the Waste Tanks: You are required to fully empty both the black and gray wastewater tanks before returning the van. Step-by-step dumping instructions are clearly laid out in our campervan guidebook. A 150 dollar fee will be charged if the van is returned with waste still in the tanks. Awning Care: Always retract and lock the exterior awning when leaving the campsite, before going to sleep, or during any windy weather. Wind damage is renter-responsible and very expensive. Fuel Policy: Return the van with a completely full tank of gasoline, just as it was handed to you. Tolls & Fines: Renters are 100% responsible for all tolls, traffic violations, parking tickets, and towing fees incurred during the rental period.
