We love camping by the California coast and near by lakes. Our next big set of trips will be out to Lake Powell and Lake Tahoe. One of our top stops in California has got to be Campland by the Bay in San Diego. You can spend a week there and still not experience everything there is to do with the family: Sea World, Lego Land, Zoo, Safari Park, Whale Watching, USS Midway Museum, Gas Lamp District, MLB - Padres, Belmont Park, Old Town, Museum of Art, Natural History Museum, Air and Space Museum, Aquatica (Water Park). This location or any of the RV parks in San Diego will be near everything you want to do.
