Meet your host, On The Move

Member since 2021

My wife and I are avid travelers and regularly took 2-3 international trips a year. With the birth of our daughter in 2019, we began keeping trips closer to home. We were renting RVs for about 2 years and finally decided it was our time to purchase. We recently took our 18 month old daughter on a 2 week, 4000 mile road trip! We saw so much and had one of the best experiences of our lives! Now it's time for us to help build those memories for you and your family.

We had a great experience with on the move rentals, the RV was great and had everything we needed for our family of 4. We had great communication from the host throughout our trip!

What a hassle. Do not trust what the owner or his wife tells you in person because they go back on their word.
So many technical issues with the RV. The generator would just shut off for no reason (plenty of gas) and would not leave internal batteries charged. solar would not hold a charge so we couldn't plug in phones or cpap at night. Also, the AC doesn't really work. it was pretty much always hotter inside than it was outside.
Plus the leveling blocks they included were super cheap and not nearly tough enough to use. and the black tank never properly emptied. but we brought our receipt to show we paid to have it emptied

I am sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience. We reached out to you during your rental and were not made aware of any functionality concerns until this review. We are always available via phone call or text to address any concerns that may arise.

On the move was a great host. The RV was everything and more as far as comfort and convenience are concerned. We can’t wait to rent it again!

We were first time RV users and had an awesome trip. The RV was great and Clayton is an excellent host, who provided everything we needed. Linens, kitchen utensils, and even camping chairs were provided at no extra charge. There is also a Youtube video showing how to operate different functions of the RV that was very helpful. Clayton was available when we had questions on our trip and was prompt in his responses. I would definitely recommend On The Move Rentals.

This RV was absolutely perfect! “Small” enough to easily drive and just big enough for 4 adults, adulting 🤙. The owner was kind, professional and communicated very well making our trip uneventful

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pickup/Dropoff is 12pm, but I can accommodate times earlier or later per request.

Q.How does the solar work?
A.
There are 200w solar panels that charge the coach batteries. The coach batteries run all the lights, water pump and heat. There is also a 1000w power inverter to allow use of the TVs and a couple 120v (household) outlets. There is a generator on board that charges the batteries in the event the solar power is not enough or batteries are completely drained. Generator is also required for use of the AC/microwave and operating the slide out.
