2015 Starcraft AR-One
Cozy and convenient, this little camper that we added in 2021 will sleep 4 but is best suited for couples wanting to get away. It's smaller size makes it easier for towing or parking at smaller camp sites but it doesn't give up any comfort or conveniences. The bed is an upgraded full size memory foam mattress for a great night sleep. The privacy curtain is nice for keeping out the dog or for when one of you wakes up sooner than the other. The dinette area is spacious and also converts into bed large enough for a couple of kids or another grown up needing to crash. The bathroom has a decent size shower and the kitchen setup allows you to cook your meals inside or use our portable grill setup outside under the awning. With A/C, heater, hot water, microwave, and stove, you will no longer be roughing it in the woods. The camper comes with dinner ware and cups, and some common use items like TP, paper towels, trash bags, but if you'll be using it for a week or longer you'll need to plan on supplying those things. You'll need to bring your own bedding sheets/blankets/pillows. We can provide some fun add-ons for an extra charge. This is our personal camper and we do keep some of our personal items in the camper. Most things are common use and we don't mind sharing. I can deliver and setup the camper to the campground of your choice or if you have a vehicle capable of towing you're free to roam. The delivery fee is based on distance from Milford, NH but is a minimum of $135 (adjusted Mar 2022 due to gas prices). Delivery/setup to campgrounds further than 60 miles from Milford, NH require a minimum of 3 nights rental. NO drycamping/boondocking and sites Must have septic or on-site dump station if you plan to use the bathroom or sinks ($20 fee for me to dump on-site).What's includedWe provide a few things like dishes, cookware, utensils, cups, some TP and a few trash bags. A blanket is provided for the bed but you will need to bring your own pillows and sheets. You should plan on bringing all the personal care items that you would plan to bring on a camping trip.Add-ons like kayaks, tent, and easy-up are available for additional charge. Delivery/Setup/Pickup is available and charged based on mileage.RecommendationsCold Springs and Autumn Hills (Weare, NH) are nice local campgrounds we have been to. We also go camping at Papoose Pond (North Waterford, ME) every summer which is a favorite.Other things to noteCAMPGROUNDS ONLY! Due to past issues, we no longer allow rental on private property. Renters are responsible for any damages to the camper. Renters are responsible for emptying the grey/black water tanks before pickup ($20 fee for me to dump on-site). Pets are welcome. We have 2 dogs who love to camp and the dinette area is a comfy spot for them. Absolutely no smoking is allowed in the camper. Also if you do smoke outside, be mindful that your clothes carry smoke and can make the the camper smell. A cleaning fee of $120 will be taken from the security deposit if there are smells from smoking. Also, camp grounds only, no festivals or parties.

We love to go camping up and are happy to be able to share good times with friends and family around the camp fire. We have 2 dogs and kids who we drag along with us to our favorite spot, Papoose Pond in North Waterford, ME. We are renting our camper out so that others can also share great adventures and fun times with their families. And yes, our last name is Hooker, so ya got to have fun with it.

This is the second time we’ve rented from Shane and this time was just as great as the first. The camper was clean, well maintained, and perfect for our weekend camping trip. Communicating was easy and he was quick to answer any questions we had leading up to the trip. We highly recommend renting from Shane and will definitely do so again in the future. Thanks for another great experience!

Q.Can you handle booking a site for me?
A.
Sure. Just let me know which area or campground you want to go to and I will arrage booking and give you the info so that all you have to do is show up and chill.
Q.What type of site do I need to book?
A.
This smaller camper can fit on most any camp site. We recommend a full hookup site (water, electric, septic) if you plan to use the bathroom in the camper. In the summer time a site with at least a 15-Amp service will be good for running the A/C to keep things cool. The camper isn't really equipped well to go completely off-grid.
Q.I've never camped in an RV before, what do I need to know? What if something goes wrong?
A.
If you've never camped in an RV, no worries. I can deliver and setup everything. All you'll need to do is now how to turn on the heat or A/C as you want it. Sometimes things can happen and if they do best thing is to call or text me. We can walk through most anything you're having problems with. I've also made a few YouTube videos that I can send you links to that will explain things more.
Q.What do I need to do on checkout day?
A.
I will need to arrive about 1 hour before the scheduled checkout time to close up/disconnect the camper so please plan on that. Please sweep the floors, make sure all cups, pots/pans, dinnerware has been cleaned and put away. If you used the propane grill please make sure that there are no foods stuck on the grill grate. Also, if you were using camp chairs, bring them inside the camper unless they are wet. Please make sure to remove any food items you brought from the fridge.
