5.0This is cozy RV, it had everything we needed --- except for a spatula :) --- everything worked, and Jason gave us support when we needed it. The truck drive is smooth on the highway, the mattress is comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, the camper is well insulated. The size of the RV was perfect for us. This RV rental rates five stars for sure, and we hope to rent again from Jason who was very, very accommodating and gracious.

5.0The van was definitely old with over 300k miles on it but it drives surprisingly well. I went to Yellowstone with it and for nearly 900 miles the van had no problem with it except the lock on the drivers side sometimes doesn’t lock or unlock using remote so I had to use the key. Over the trip Jason replied my messages on time and offered great amount of help. In conclusion the rental was great and I had a great trip with this van! Highly recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind old vehicles.

5.0Communication was on point! Really appreciated the Google Doc and YT videos- we referenced those a couple of times on our trip and it was so helpful. The van was everything we needed for a camping trip on the Oregon Coast. It was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. It was so nice to have electricity and with it being sunny out, the solar panels kept the battery charged. We had an excellent experience!

4.0This trip is a summer week on the coast of Oregon. Disclosure: This trip was done accompanied with another new RV and many tasks were accomplished using equipment from that vehicle (so much of the equipment aboard "Envy" was not used (like the heater) and cannot be evaluated). Those RV systems of Envy that were used performed well (water supply, lighting, bedding). The bedding aboard Envy is laid out sideways so for tall renters (we are 5'10" and 6'2") it is necessary to sleep diagonal. This was mentioned by the host in the write up for the vehicle. Vehicle systems (drive train, AC), all worked fine. Rear facing camera displayed 100% of operating time was a nice feature.

How big is the van?

The height of the van is about 10' and the length is 24' with the bike rack. Sadly, that means no drive thrus and avoid low-hanging branches!

What sort of gas does it use and what is the gas mileage?

The van uses regular 87 octane gas (NO DIESEL). Gas mileage averages around 13-14 mpg with a light foot (55-60 mph freeway speeds) and 11-12 mpg without. Please refill the fuel tank before returning the van.

Can I take it off-road?
A.
The NV sports large LT265/70/17 all-terrain tires and 8" of ground clearance. It's certainly capable of going up and down rough dirt/forest roads, but keep in mind it weighs over 4 tons, is RWD only, and has open differentials. Use your best judgement and know your limits! Rough roads means an even rougher ride, and I strongly discourage attempting sandy terrain, deep ruts, or anything marked as a 4x4 road.
