It’s cute, it’s vintage, and it’s totally comfy. Our 1987 Scamp is well kept inside and out. We’ve treated it like our own home. Our family of three fits perfectly during our non-adventure times (a.k.a. rainy days). The pull-out awning extends the space into the outdoors in an easy and functional way. It's under 1,500lbs when it's empty, so a decent sized SUV or a small pickup should do the trick. We tow it with our Tacoma no problem. That said, the trailer has electric brakes so to utilize that you'll need to have an electric brake controller. Some vehicles have them, but not many. We ordered ours off Amazon and installed it easily. This controller is how the Scamp's brakes are controlled. We stock it with some kitchen odds n' ends. Paper products are stocked and select cleaning supplies in case of accidents. You bring your own linens. We suggest a full or queen size sheet/blanket for the dinette bed and something smaller to fit the bunks. What's includedPropane tank(s).RecommendationsGo up North!Other things to noteNo smoking.
No pets.
No festivals or parties.
The camper should not have more people in it at any given time than the party who's renting it.
