1962 Airstream Globetrotter
Delivery OnlyIf you want to plan a camping trip to Moab, but still want some of the luxuries of home, rent a fully outfitted camper from Southwest Jeep Adventures and let us do the packing and cleaning! We'll work with you to find the perfect spot to base camp, deliver and set it up for you, and provide everything you need for a few nights, a week or more. Whether you prefer an RV park with electric hookups, a developed campground with scenic views, picnic tables and toilets, or dispersed camping off grid, we'll make sure you have a cozy and comfortable place to lay your head at the end of a day of adventuring.Born in 1962, Abbey the Airstream found her way to Moab from Abilene, Texas by way of a dear old friend who began her restoration several years ago. Abbey is named after her hometown as well as after author Ed Abbey, who was an environmental advocate in the 70s and spent a great deal of time exploring the canyon country around Moab. We finished the process of giving her a new look and new life and are excited to add her to our fleet of camper rentals.Abbey is available for delivery only to either a developed campground in the area, an RV park in the area that you reserve in advance, or to an agreed upon location on BLM land in the area (only in spring and fall months).Your camper includes: Two 100 watt solar panels and Ecoflow lithuim battery to power the fridge, lights, water pump, and outlets. A fully stocked kitchen with fridge and two burner gas stove, 5 gallons of fresh water for cleaning, 5 gallons of fresh water for drinking (both re-fillable). Queen sized bed with plush bedding and pillows. We can include an extra tent and sleeping pads and sleeping bags or air mattress if you have up to 4 people. Camp chairs, table and ground mat. Towels. Portable RV Toilet and supplies (requires dumping every two days)
Headlamps, games, guidebooks and more! What to Expect: While renting a camper is a giant step above tent camping, and offers some of the comforts of home like a real bed, a kitchen and electricity, this is still a camping experience. With Abbey will be some dust, bugs, heat or cold, and limited amenities you won't get with a hotel room or newer fancier RVs. Water and electricity are limited, and you'll be using a portable RV toilet or pit toilets at your campground unless you rent a campsite at an RV park. Abbey does not have hot water, a shower or flushing toilet.Note: A/C AND Heater Only Works IF Plugged Into Shore Power AT A Campground With Electric Hookups. This camper is not available in July and August due to the heat.

Emily (our host) was the best. Super kind and helpful - she walked us through the ins and out of Abbey (the Airstream) and even left us flowers and a card, as we rented Abbey for our camping wedding in Moab. So thoughtful! In addition, Abbey is just so charming and perfect. Lots of headroom and space. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!
