Perfect stay for a week in Acadia NP. The van is clean, well outfitted, features worked smoothly and it drives great!

Nous avons passé 12 jours/11 nuits sur la route avec le van de Jean-Philippe. C'était une premiere fois générale, dans un van, au Quebec avec Outdoorsy.
Nous étions deux adultes et une enfant de 12 ans, le van est bien équipé et confortable surtout au niveau des matelas (je précise que la couchette inférieure est bien pour un.e jeune ado ou adulte souple et mince ;-) ) Jean Philippe a été un hôte très prévenant et arrangeant, répondant toujours rapidement à mes multiples interrogations avant et pendant le voyage avec une grande gentillesse. Il a également fait tout son possible pour arranger les dates, peu de temps auparavant nous avons pu avoir une nuit supplémentaire. Tout s'est très bien déroulé !
Pour ce qui est du voyage, le van est agréable a conduire, nous avons voyagé en pas mal d'étapes depuis Montréal, Québec, parc des grands jardins, les Bergeronnes, sainte Fulgence, Saint Félicien et enfin la réserve faunique Mastigouche. Ce périple nous a donné envie de revenir pour la Gaspésie ! Malgré un temps chahuteux au début avec un avis de tornade, puis un avis d'ébullition pour lequel nous avons été bien contents d'avoir la réserve d'eau du van. L'utilisation des batteries et des eaux ainsi que la vidange sont simples nous n'avons pas eu de mal pour utiliser tout cela même novices.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
No special permit is required to operate the van. It drives just like a normal car, expect for the length to consider, taking additional space when making the turn. Otherwise, it drives exceptionally well, and has built-in assist in case of strong winds, and detection of cars in blind spots on the road.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pick up usually takes place around 3pm, but is negotiable, and we do our best to accommodate guests, who usually can pick up when it is most convenient for them, given we have the time between two rentals to prepare the van correctly.
