Review summary
Responsive and helpful host
Josh was praised for being responsive, helpful with logistics, and dealing with starter/generator trouble. One renter, however, contacted Outdoorsy for leveling issues.
Drives well, many maintenance issues
The 2009 RV is spacious and easy to drive, but suffers from numerous maintenance problems including faulty AC, leaking roof/hose, non-cooling refrigerator, ants, and non-operational leveling system due to corroded batteries. Delamination and embrittled curtains also noted.

3.0The rental initially appeared acceptable; however, multiple pre-existing maintenance and condition issues became apparent during the trip. The air conditioning system did not operate properly. Ants were observed under the refrigerator and, at one point, inside the RV. The batteries located under the entry steps were heavily corroded, which caused the leveling system to repeatedly display fault messages and prevented it from operating correctly. As a result, Outdoorsy had to be contacted three separate times for assistance walking us through the leveling process due to the system faults. We acknowledge that minor superficial scuff marks occurred near the gas cap area after the gas cap was left off. These marks appear cosmetic in nature and should be capable of being cleaned or removed without significant repair. However, the other conditions being attributed to us appear to be pre-existing deterioration caused by age, lack of maintenance, and long-term wear. A privacy curtain appeared to be the original curtain from the 2009 RV and had become embrittled from age, causing the plastic slide/header strip at the top to unravel and separate from the curtain fabric. Additionally, the RV compartment doors exhibited delamination, with the protective plastic/vinyl outer skin bubbling, lifting, and separating from the underlying wood or composite substrate. This condition compromised the weather-resistant surface of the compartment doors and is consistent with long-term deterioration, not sudden damage caused during our rental period. The host’s own photographs appear to show that this condition existed and had worsened over time.

5.0Good large RV. The AC fluctuates while driving. External garden hose was leaking so I had to borrow from someone in the RV park. It didn’t have 10 sleepers as advertised. Water was leaking from the roof onto the floor when the water pump was on. Refrigerator not cooling.
