Rules and policies
1. No Smoking or Vaping – inside the RV or under the awnings. 2. Fuel & Propane – Please return with the same levels as when you picked up. 3. Black & Grey Tanks – Must be emptied before return (unless pre-arranged for us to handle). 4. Mileage & Generator Use – Rentals include a set daily allowance; overages will be billed per Outdoorsy policy. 5. Towing – Only approved trailers or vehicles may be towed (10,000 lb max). 6. Driving Restrictions – No off-roading, rough terrain, or unauthorized festivals/events. 7. Cleanliness – Please return the RV with trash taken out, refrigerator empty, and generally clean. Excessive cleaning fees may apply. 8. Safety First – Seatbelts must be worn while driving, and slide-outs/awnings should only be used when parked on level ground with leveling jacks deployed 9. Respect the RV – Treat it as if it were your own home on wheels.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with driving the RV easily?

A.

Driving & Handling • Take wide turns – this rig is long and built on a Freightliner chassis; swing wider than a car to avoid curbs. • Use the exhaust brake on downhill grades – it helps control speed and saves your brakes. • Watch overhead clearance – the RV is 13’1” tall. Always check bridge/overpass signs. • Use side cameras & mirrors – turn signals activate side cameras for safer lane changes.

How do the electric and generator work while setting up at the campground?

A.

Power & Generator • Generator start: Hold the button until it cranks fully (sometimes takes a few seconds). • Use the generator or 50 amp shore power for A/C, microwave, and outlets. • Turn off A/C before starting/stopping generator to avoid power surges. • Don’t overload circuits – stagger use of microwave, A/C, and fireplace. Hookups are located in the bay on the driver’s side.

How do the water and sewage hookups work for setting up at a campground?

A.

Water & Tanks • Fresh water fill: Use the labeled freshwater inlet only. • Black tank first, grey tank second – this flushes the sewer hose clean. • Always keep black tank valve CLOSED during use to prevent clogs. • Use RV-safe toilet paper only (provided). We recommend checking out YouTube videos for quick and easy setup. Hookups are located in a driver’s side bay.

What are some setup and leveling tips?

A.

Setup & Leveling • Park on level ground first – then extend slides only after leveling. • Always retract slides before moving – double-check both slides and awnings are in. • JRide Premium package helps smooth handling, but still take your time when parking and leveling.
