It is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore East Orange, and it is in a lovely setting with views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. If you like boats, Liberty Harbor Marina is right next door, and there is a ferry to New York from here.There are 50 sites at the park, all with water and electric hookup. You will find restrooms and showers here, can get WiFi from the office, and there is 24-hour security. If you enjoy walking, there are easy trails close by. You are also only a short stroll away from coffee shops, and there are two grocery stores within a mile away. If you want to stay at the park in the evening, but don't want to cook, there is a restaurant and bar on site, serving delicious meals. Of course, you may want to venture out, and East Orange has a fantastic range of restaurants, including sandwich bars, pizza places, soul food, and fine dining.
