Perfect for family trips! Your bikes and scooters are welcome! It’s a toy hauler so you can also bring a motorized toy (check your campground rules). Message us for dimensions and questions! If you choose, you can utilize the back gate as a deck with screen and manual awning! Our RV is 31 ft. and requires a 30 AMP for electrical hook up but is also equipped with a generator! You can use the central AC unit for the main living area and the AC wall unit that is located in the queen bedroom! Either way stay cool during the warmer months! What's includedFor your trip we have everything you need! The kitchen is stocked with the essentials. We also provide extras such as tank safe toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. We have 4 camping chairs that come with your rental. We have several items available upon request which include: Mini Keurig, 2 hammock hitch chairs, a folding table, and propane grill/griddle. We also have linens for the beds, towels and washcloths available upon request. We understand that some renters prefer to bring their own and that is fine too! If you have children, we have a DVD player, a few games and a mini-Nintendo (preloaded with games) for rainy/relaxing days! We are here to make your trip easy, fun and memorable! Let us know your questions or concerns!RecommendationsIf camping at a campground, research their rules and policies ahead of time! Go wherever your heart desires! Our adventures typically take us to the mountains, a lake side, or a beach! Other things to noteWe want you to have an enjoyable experience while using our RV! Please be respectful and treat it as your own if not, even better! Please no smoking in our RV (of any kind) or on the back porch as smoke will make its way into the bedroom! If you have a campfire, please position it so smoke does not blow into the bedroom! Although we love all furbabies, our RV is pet friendly for dogs only. We require you to pay the Pet Fee ($50) and to purchase the Damage Protection Plan ($69). If there is something not listed that you need for your trip, please ask us. I have a more detailed list of our RV essentials that I can share!

Hey yall! First off, thank you for checking out our RV! This is one of our most favorite things to do and we want to share it with others when we aren't using it! We are a family of four (plus our furbabies) and we enjoy traveling! We have lived from the beach to the mountains and it's nice to be able to pick up and go! We love the feeling of "home" while being on the road! We have created a cozy spot to land whether it's for a family, someone working while traveling, and/or a couples' getaway! Our RV is easy to drive and equipped with a backup camera, lane changing cameras for your blind spot (still need to look) but easy to maneuver. You can take this beautiful gem anywhere as long as you are safe and conscientious! We are all about safety while making sure our renters are confident in choosing our RV! Respect our home, drive safely, follow the rules and obviously HAPPY travels! We look forward to helping you on your next adventure!

I cannot say enough about how amazing it was to rent from Jay and Staci! From the moment we connected they were both eager to communicate with us and make sure our trip was one would remember. They answered all of our pre-travel questions and were flexible with our timing of the trip. When we arrived to pick up the RV, they were detailed in their explanation of how everything inside and outside of the RV worked, which as first-times, set our minds at ease! They even provided us with an amazing gift baskets of treats and trinkets for our trip! Staci was available pretty much 24/7 when we had questions. The RV itself was spacious enough for for grown adults to enjoy an amazing weekend together. All the amenities provided inside and outside the RV were easy to use! If you are in the Richmond area and are thinking of renting an RV, Jay & Staci are the perfect fit for you!! We cannot wait until next year!!

My older brother died suddenly in February of 2022, so I knew that Christmas was going to be tough for my family back in Arkansas. I live in Virginia so we're not around the rest of my family. I was in the Navy for almost 30 years and hadn't been back to Arkansas for a Christmas in about that same amount of time. I wanted to have my whole family together this year, or what remains of it. The best way I could figure to get us all together at the same time would be to rent an RV and drive it in. My wife has significant medical issues so I couldn't leave her alone while I went into Arkansas by myself so I thought I'd take her, my 16-year-old son, my adult stepdaughter and my 2-year-old Pug Franky.
I searched through all of the RVs on the site and Jay and Stacy's was the most accommodating for our trip. It looked nice inside and out and had a few amenities that I thought were pretty cool (a back porch and hammock swings.)
Stacy called and spoke to me on more than one occasion and was able to identify that I wouldn't be able to take the RV back to my condo since most HOAs don't allow an RV to be parked in the area. They were about 100 miles away from Virginia beach and allowed me to come in the day before our trip to bring some items and go over all of the RV since this was my first time ever renting, driving, or using an RV. They were very thorough and left me with a binder and their phone number in case I needed anything along the way.
The day I came in to get the RV, they decorated it with Christmas lights and left us a basket full of goodies for us and the dog. I thought that was such a kind, an above-and-beyond gesture that I wasn't expecting.
I did call them almost every day of travel on the way into Arkansas and they were more than helpful. We had some issues, such as when I made the turn too sharp in a gas station and dented the cover over the generator. They didn't react in a negative way and I called them immediately to report it. I felt terrible for it since they had trusted me with their RV and that happened but they never shamed me for it, for which I was very grateful
Then we got into Arkansas and freeze happened, which froze and burst the water lines such that I couldn't hold water in the tank or prevent it from leaking when hooked up to City water. Thank God my Dad knew someone who got it fixed for us.

I am so lucky I chose the RV that I did. Thor Outlaw was so clean, organized, stocked with essentials and even gifts for my little ones. It was easy to make yourself at home. They answered any questions immediately no matter how silly they may have been I have never rented in a RV before but Staci and Jay were so helpful and easy to talk to. They taught us about hookups at a campsite and made sure our experience was perfect. Renting was a gift for my parents and they had a great time. Totally reccomend this RV for anybody. At one point it was 4 adults and 2 kids and had room to spare. AC was like a nice hotel room and TV's everywhere. 4 TV's total I think it was.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are pretty flexible with pick up and drop off. Let us know your plans so we can arrange what works best.

Q.Is there a charge for RV items that are damaged or not returned?
A.
Yes. There is a charge for our RV items that are damaged or not returned. This goes for anything on board at the time of rental (items included and/or rental items). Ask for the essentials checklist and I'm happy to send it. If there is something we include that you don't need, we are happy to remove it to make room for your essentials. Example: Mini Keurig

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Be cautious while driving and pay attention to your surroundings. The clearance of the RV is important so look for low hanging branches from trees (especially in neighborhoods) and obviously no drive thru restaurants. Parking lots and gas stations can be tight so pay attention to curbs and fixed objects that are lower to the ground that are hard to see. When going over speed bumps go very slow! When backing up, have someone outside of the RV to help guide you for blind spots. Be safe, stay calm!

Q.What if we need help with something during our trip?
A.
Communication is key while renting our RV! We are available to help anytime during your trip. We encourage our renters to contact us if there is something they don't know or might have a question about. Although we do a thorough walk through, there will always be questions. It's a lot of information to absorb especially if you are not seasoned RVers. We have a notebook on board with operational instructions, but we are always a phone call away.
