5.0This was our first time booking with Outdoorsy, & we couldn’t have had a better experience. Alan is such a genuine person, & the van was everything we wanted and more. We rented the van for a week & a half as and stayed in campsites without hookups - not even needing to with how well equipped the van was. The bed in the back of the van was so spacious & super comfortable with the mattress pad Alan provided. During the day we ran the AC while the van was on. At night we kept the windows open & ran a small fan which kept it perfectly cool. The solar panels were a game changer & kept the battery full every single day. We charged and ran everything we needed to at night and it barely depleted the battery. Alan included everything we needed for the trip. The van got GREAT gas mileage - way better than we planned for. Alan is an amazing host - great with communication although we had no issues the whole time. He even gave us the most thoughtful gift when we returned the van when he heard we got engaged during the trip. When we picked up the van, he spent time with us showing everything and ensuring we knew how it all worked. Alan set such a high bar, & I’d highly recommend the van!

His model van is great, there's a pop-up that my 12 year-old loved sleeping in, especially on cool nights in the desert... and a very comfortable area in the back of the van. I am 6'3" and had enough space to sleep comfortably sprawled out. We put 2,000 miles on Alan's van! Traversing the southwest and had no problems during the trip.
