5Kathy and Thomas are outstanding hosts! They explained how to use the van and gave instructions as a backup. Great van with solar and generator to use in the wild outdoors. Rufus the camper van was well stocked for everything you would need for camping. Clean accommodations and made to feel like home in the woods; so cozy! We highly encourage camper van lookers to choose Rufus you’ll enjoy the accommodations. Kathy and Thomas truly care about their guests!

5Rufus is a gentleman. Rufus is also a motivator! Our “mini” Grand Circle of five iconic Utah national parks (plus Monument Valley thrown in) was a huge success. That’s partly our over planning, partly a great van, and great support from Tom and Kathy! We would definitely do this again, and be privileged to ride with Rufus!

5Tom and Kathy were so kind and responsive! They even sent us great recommendations for hikes during our trip. The van was in great condition. This was our first time renting a van and it was a great trial run to learn what we would like to have in our own van one day! The fridge and freezer was big enough to hold enough food for the 2 of us for almost every meal for 10 days. There isn’t a ton of storage space in the van for clothes, not unexpected, but we made it work with our duffel bags and shuffling things around between driving and sleeping. The windows in the bed area were very nice to get a breeze in at night without turning on the AC. Overall an awesome experience!

5Best host out there! Get ready to get compliments on Rufus pretty much everywhere you stop:) It was our first time experience staying in rv while camping, and gosh what a difference comparing to traditional camping. Everything sets up in a blink of an eye, a real time saver! Thank you Kathy for being so nice to us and for all the arrangements!!!

5Very well stocked van with all the bells and whistles. Solar powered fridge was our favorite feature as well as the comfy bed and awning. Kathy and Tom were very responsive ahead of and during the trip for any questions or suggestions. No doubt we will be doing another trip in the van!

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
This vehicle is perfect for dry-camping or for hooking up at the campground. It has a generator to run the microwave, solar and generator to recharge the deep-cell batteries, fresh water, grey water storage and a cassette toilet that is super easy to empty and maintain. Maximum flexibility to go where your wanderlust takes you!

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

We can arrange for drop off / pick up from the Salt Lake International or Ogden Hinkley airport or at local hotels. Lockbox pick up is also available for touch less delivery.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
