Hello! My name is Megs. I love off-grid adventures and camping with my family of 5. I also have a beautiful golden retriever name Cooper. My favourite adventure so far was travelling up the Bruce Peninsula to Tobermory, and then across to Manitoulin Island.

Our trip was great! Spent a week travelling through rain and sunshine. The van was full equipped with everything we needed and more! The hosts were easy to deal with and flexible.

We just returned from a week in Algonquin Park and had a great trip. Loved the van! We didn’t have an electrical site, so having solar power was great, especially to run the fridge. The van was exactly as described, everything worked just fine. Super comfy bed, and our dog appreciated having the canopy to lie under when it rained! Meaghan is an excellent host - we would certainly rent from her again.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We're firm for pickup time, and flexible for dropping off - determined at time pickup. We have have a renter the next day, and we need some time to properly clean the van for next renter.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Yep, just in case you lose your key or lock yourself out - there is a special lock box under the van with lovely spare key ;) Also, the awning needs two people for set up; so much easier! There are some outdoor LED light to add to the awning as well :)

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
There is very little setup here! Roll into your camp spot, and park close enough connect to shore power. If there's no shore power, try to park in the sunlight, and avoid the shaded areas, so the Solar power can generate power. Manually empty grey water when the clean water has approx. 20% left in the 5 gallon jug. Manually fill the the 5 gallon at the same time. No toilet system, so no worries there.
