2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

La Tortuga is extremely organized with lots of extras and details. There were plenty of dishes and flatware, options for cooking (jet boil, induction burner, Coleman stove), built in storage, extra blankets, cooking pots and utensils and basic spices. The interior lighting options made it easy to be at the table and to prepare and clean up from meals at the counter. There were headlamps, coffee, tea and lots of extras. The van handled well and we had no mechanical issues. We stayed at park campgrounds and did not use shore power. We appreciated the extra space created by raising the bed during the day. We made most of our meals in camp, sometimes outside if the weather cooperated but also cooking inside out of the rain. The insulated window coverings kept the interior dark and warm in the evening. We slept well with the down comforter. Joe met us at the airport to give us the overview which made our trip so much easier. Communication both before and during the trip was prompt and on point. We were the maiden voyage for La Tortuga and would definitely consider renting again if we are back in the Central Cal area. This is a great setup for a couple wanting to experience some adventures!
