We are happy to introduce you to Oscar, our 2020 19 foot Caravel. While the Caravel is new to us, it’s name sake was our adored, 20 year old dachshund. Oscar, the dog, and Oscar, the travel trailer, have a lot in common. Both long, sleek, full of character with the ability to turn heads everywhere they go!We are so excited to be able to share Oscar with people who want to have an amazing experience on the road. We will make sure all of your needs are met and you have everything you need to have a worry free adventure.
Here’s a little more about the amenities Oscar has to offer:
Fully equipped kitchen includes refrigerator/freezer combo, microwave oven, 2 burner gas stovetop, coffee pot and fully stocked cabinets for all your cooking and eating needs. The bedroom has a corner bed with cozy bedding and enough pillows to suck you in at the end of the day. The bathroom has a separate sink, toilet and shower. The dinette in the front of the trailer, with panoramic windows, converts to a bed that will accommodate two small adults. The seats are covered in waterproof, faux fur covers to make it a little more cozy.
In general, for longer trips, Oscar is best suited for 2-3 people or 2 adults and 2 children as he is quite spacious but not overly large. We have slept 4 adults comfortably over the course of a long weekend. There are shades and curtains for privacy, awnings on three sides of the trailer, in cabin furnace, on demand hot water heater, A/C, solar power, Wifi (please inquire for further details), TV (with cable hook-up), bluetooth stereo and BlueRay player. What's includedOscar is best suited for camp sites with at least 30-amp power hook-ups. If you would like to go "boondocking" or connect to house power, please reach out to us.Oscar comes with camp chairs, camping table, outdoor rug, all linens, toilet paper, paper towels, tools, extra fuses, leveling blocks, 30-amp power cable, 50/30 amp adapter, weight distributing tow hitch, fresh water hose with water filter, sewer drain hose, extensions cords, air compressor, etc.This travel trailer is perfect for beginners. It is pretty straight forward to connect and disconnect from the tow vehicle. It is recommended that your vehicle have a tow capacity of 6500 pounds or more.
