Hi! We are Elle and Lauren, or as we like to call ourselves, the AdVANture Wives. We bought this van back in 2021 and started building it out ourselves. We got some help with the finishing touches and hit the road in summer 2023. We are typically weekenders or go for a few weeks in the summer with our pup, Jesse.

My wife and I rented Elle & Lauren’s van for 2 weeks in our first of this type of experience. The van is easy to drive and it’s amenities made boondocking relatively easy for us newbies. The size of the van was not an issue as it’s short wheel-base makes for pretty easy maneuvers. The engine provided plenty of power climbing the hills of Cape Breton Island and the transmission is smooth. The batteries provided plenty of reserve power after the sun went down to run the water pump, lights, and heater. The hot water heater works well but there is a slight lag due to the distance between the heater and the sink. The size of the interior was adequate for the two of us and our 50 lb pup. We all adjusted well to the space but more space in driver’s seat would be nice.
The owners answered have done a nice, well thought out job on the build and are sincerely interested in feedback to improve anything such as the position of the porta potty and as a result the van is great for traveling. Questions answered quickly!!

Just got back from a wonderful week with this van and had a wonderful time! Having stepped up from a previous trip using a smaller van, having the extra space is amazing. Between the storage, space to move, being able to stand up, and having multiple places to sit inside and enjoy meals I can't recommend this van enough! The solar panels were more than enough to keep up with our usage and be fully recharged by the next evening. Ample amounts of counter space for cooking and entertaining! Had a few friends from the camp site over for dinner and relaxing in the evening. The hidden gem is the bug screen, be sure to use it! Keeping bugs out while still having a nice breeze in the van in the evening is an absolute necessity! Another great feature is the hot water heater for showers. Sometimes you just really want to take a warm shower and having that option while out in the woods is honestly amazing! I would absolutely consider renting this van again for our next trip out!
