Offers thorough instructions & recommendations

Renee provided a detailed rundown of the van's use and capabilities, alongside great local recommendations for sights and routes. She also arranged airport pickup/drop-off for guests.

Drives smoothly on varied terrain

The van drives smoothly even on bumpy off-road areas and fits tunnels. It features a very comfortable mattress, effective blackout window shades, and a heater for cold nights. The fridge accommodates four days' worth of food.

Renee is a great host and the van is awesome as well. She was kind enough to pick us up at the airport at the beginning of our trip and drop us off at the hotel at the end. The van handles great and everything operated as promised. Highly recommend Renee and her rig. Thanks

We had an amazing time with this van! We stayed wherever we wanted, and stopped whenever we wanted. We had everything we needed in the van. We did add on the full kitchen and toilet. We bought a few extra cooking supplies, but besides that, everything you needed was supplied. It was cold for most of our trip, so we couldn’t utilize the van to its fullest in terms of outside space, but the heater kept us warm on those cold nights. It would have been nice to have an extra table inside to set things on. On the warmer days and less windy days, we did pull the back slide out and cook on there. We fit perfectly in the Iron Mountain tunnels, but be sure to avoid Needles Highway. Our trip was in April so the Badlands & Wind Cave area was not crowded at all. Many times we didn’t see anyone for miles and miles. Be sure to take roads less traveled and explore. We saw more animals on Lame Johnny Road than the Wildlife Loop. In April not much was open, but we didn’t mind. We stopped at a local coop market in Rapid City and stocked up before we headed out. The fridge was big enough to hold food and beer for four days for us. Grab some local visitors guides of Custer State Park and the Badlands area, they give a great overview of the area, animals, and things to do.

The van was perfect. Renee was an amazing host. This trip was an A+! Renee had everything we could've wanted in a host for the area. She gave us a thorough rundown of the van, making sure we were super comfortable with everything. Gave us great recommendations on where to go, what to see, and how to get there. The van itself was amazing. I couldn't believe how comfortable the bed was, and how dark the window shades made it in there.

The mattress was super comfortable, the window shades blocked out the light very well. So convenient to see all the sites and not have to return to a hotel each night! Vehicle drove really smooth even on some of the bumpy off road areas.

A.

Standard 120V / 3-prong outlets—just like home. Easy to plug in and power your essentials.

Q.

Does the A/C and water heater run off-grid?

A.

The A/C and hot water require shore power (plugged into campsite or external power). Off-grid system supports lights, fridge, and basic use.

How big is the van? Is it hard to drive?

A.

How big is the van? Is it hard to drive? Drives like a standard full-size truck (19' length), with clearance similar to a Subaru-style SUV. Height: 10’5” Ok for tunnels on Iron Mountain Road, but not for Needles Highway.

Q.

Can I take it most places?

A.

Yes—perfect for cruising the Black Hills, scenic byways, and established camp areas. Keep routes van-friendly and you’re set.
