It has been family owned and operated for 40 years, and you are assured a friendly welcome when you arrive. The campground is situated in a beautiful location of nearly 40 acres. There are woods, grassy fields, and a two acre spring-fed pond, where you are welcome to fish. Next door is Parker Woodland, a 500-acre wildlife refuge, where there are several hiking trails. 30 minutes away are beaches and casinos, and very close by, you will find some golf courses. There are 155 RV sites in this campground, all with full hookup, a fireplace, and picnic tables. If you feel like staying at the park all day, there is a swimming pool, a basketball court, a volleyball net, and horseshoe pits to keep you occupied. If you have a small boat, like a canoe or raft, you can use them on the pond. You will be interested to know that this campground has historic roots. This is where George Washington's troop slept while he visited with Colonel Bowers during the Revolutionary War. The house belonging to Colonel Bowers is right next to the campground.

Great little campground at the top of Aquidneck Island. Easy to get to Newport or as jumping point between MA and RI. Recently renovated to include full hook up. I have camped here several time
