Bourne Scenic Park
Located on the banks of the Cape Cod Canal there are over 465 sites available. You'll have scenic views of the canal, you can explore the surroundings on bikes, or go on hikes, or rollerblade. Montauk Point Lighthouse
Built in 1796, this is the oldest lighthouse in New York State. This National Historic Landmark has been an iconic piece of Long Island for over 200 years, and is still in use to aid in navigation. Visitors will be greeted with amazing vistas of the Atlantic Ocean in all its splendor. Visit the museum to see great photographic exhibits and historic documents from Thomas Jefferson and George Washington.
Cape Cod Canal
The Cape Cod Canal connects Cape Cod Bay to Buzzards Bay. At 480 feet, it is the world's widest sea-level canal. It forms part of the Atlantic Intra-coastal Waterway, the 17.5 mile long canal traverses the narrow neck of land joining Cape Cod to the state's mainland. Visitors can enjoy a picnic, walks, swimming and fishing among other activities.

The region surrounding Pawtucket in Rhode Island was the heart of the American Industrial Revolution, and Slater Mill is an essential part of that heritage. This unique venue is a combination of museum, school, and artistic workshop, and is part of the larger historic reserve that also includes Slater Memorial Park and the Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park. Permanent exhibits here include both standing displays and interpretive performances to educate the public about factory and machine shops in the early 1800s, particularly the development of textiles. Rotating exhibits are based on themes like contemporary art and industrial history. Slater Mill also offers a comprehensive educational programs for schools, corporate interests, and individuals in traditional art classes and studio time. Visit the gift shop and browse through an array of local artisan wares, which can include everything from candy to wine charms. Hickory Ridge Campground

It has been family owned and operated for 40 years, and you are assured a friendly welcome when you arrive. The campground is situated in a beautiful location of nearly 40 acres. There are woods, grassy fields, and a two acre spring-fed pond, where you are welcome to fish. Next door is Parker Woodland, a 500-acre wildlife refuge, where there are several hiking trails. 30 minutes away are beaches and casinos, and very close by, you will find some golf courses. There are 155 RV sites in this campground, all with full hookup, a fireplace, and picnic tables. If you feel like staying at the park all day, there is a swimming pool, a basketball court, a volleyball net, and horseshoe pits to keep you occupied. If you have a small boat, like a canoe or raft, you can use them on the pond. You will be interested to know that this campground has historic roots. This is where George Washington's troop slept while he visited with Colonel Bowers during the Revolutionary War. The house belonging to Colonel Bowers is right next to the campground.
