if you ever go here you must visit Rainbow falls, very beautiful waterfall.
We can give you some campsite names if you need assistance in looking for a campsite.
There's many areas here in mammoth that you can just pull over on a dirt road and find a spot to set up your camping site.South Lake Tahoe is just as beautiful and peaceful, their not too big on off roading here tho.

1we messaged the owner 20 minutes prior to pick up time which was 10 AM to let him know we were on our way. When we got there, he was not ready. He was changing a tire on the trailer. Something that should’ve been checked prior there was a rear tail light on the driver side which the brake and turn signals were not functioning, he stated that he had just checked it, but I plugged in my tester and my turn signals worked. We figured well will take care of that at my brother-in-law‘s house just down the street no big deal , still overlook the fact that the outside of the trailer had not been washed it was all dusty and dirty. Well, trying to hook up, the electrical landing mechanism broke, but I still overlook that figured we could just use jacks we will deal with the hassle. we used the trailer as any trailer. I even opened up the back and blew out any kind of dirt and dust and cleaned it out. The only thing I was not able to properly do was completely empty out the gray tank. He vaguely went over the process as we’re trying to leave and then texted me the process through a message which I never got because we had no signal where we were camping and I told him that is totally fine For not cleaning it out properly. I’ve got no problem with that but they want to charge me extra fees for the cleaning lady because they say it was dirty. I would recommend you stay away from this guy he will try and find anyway to take your deposit. And by the way, you will never see in the brochure the condition this trailer is in, until you go pick it up. I have included some photos of the real condition. This trailer is in. The bedroom door looks like a drunk fell through it and they never bothered to replace it. There are broken latches water damage dense dings all over the place and that’s all in the photos.
