3.0I received a text from the host at 7 pm the night before my trip to inform me that the generator was not working; therefore, we would have no AC. I did not have time to find another RV before we needed to leave by 9 am to beat the I-80 weekend traffic. I specifically selected an RV with a generator because we have a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old who need naps, and the forecast called for temperatures over 90 degrees. We ended up needing to use a friend's RV for nap time. After the first day I checked the gray and black water levels and the black said 2/3, we still had 2 days left so I packed up camp and left to go dump. Less than a couple gallons came out and the indicator moved to 1/3. I flushed water while the valve was open and that came out without issue. I told the host when I got back and he let me know that the sensor sometimes reads incorrectly. (wish I knew this) The RV itself was in decent condition, was well stocked and all other functions worked as expected. Overall, it was a decent experience. While the generator not working may be beyond the host's control, it affected our trip. * I was offered 30% refund for the inconvenience and offered an opportunity to cancel.
