Of course! He is equipped with a Ford V8 engine, a J-ride suspension system, and cameras galore (rear and side) with a sleek LCD center console display to keep you safe on the road. If you have survived the 5 or 163 in San Diego, you'll be more than prepared to operate Scout! We want you to spend your time making memories, not trying to figure out how to Bluetooth this ... or Airplay that ... (anyone else have a parent/spouse that gets pretty frustrated with technology??). For our guests, all of Scout's high-tech amenities are at the ready, so you can maximize your time watching movies/building-pillow-forts/star-gazing in the cozy and spacious Queen bed above the cabin, or catching up on your guilty-pleasure shows with our Roku TV capabilities. RecommendationsSouthern California is the greatest place on earth because you can get to anywhere really quickly and the weather is amazing year round. We love Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, some of the greatest camping and nature activities in the world only two hours away. San Bernardino County is the largest in the Western U.S., and offers everything from mountains and coastal campgrounds to desert badlands and oasis in Joshua Tree and Palm Springs/Palm Desert! The beaches are so amazing in SoCal you can literally just travel along the Pacific Coast Highway and stop from time to time, marveling at the power of God's creation. Want to check out the world's greatest stargazing? Head up north for a few hours and BAM! You are in Joshua Tree, looking at every star you never knew existed. You can even go crazy and take this bad boy up the coast to wine country, Yosemite, or even sleepy little getaways like Carmel-By-The-Sea. If you do go there, hit up La Playa on Sunday night for the 5 o'clock Happy Hour. Every drink is one dime for ten minutes. Shhhhhh.....you didn't hear it from us, it's considered a local secret. *Tailgating is fine but festivals of any kind are not allowed at this time.*** CAN NOT take to Death Valley and/or MexicoOther things to noteThe main question - pick up/return times! Pick up time (or delivery time) is 3pm, with a return time of 11am. If you have plans to leave a little earlier on your first day, we do offer an earlier drop off option for 11am (see add-ons for more details). No matter what, we want you to have an amazing time during your journey! Please remember that while you can happily bring your furry friends and attend your favorite game, right now you cannot attend any festivals or smoke in the vehicle, otherwise you will be charged according to the Rules of the Road. Please make sure you are tracking on all of the things that are approved and prohibited with this vehicle and most importantly, have an amazing time!! We want to see lots of pictures! :)

Communicates effectively, yet support varies

Guests praise the host's communication, flexibility, and helpful instructional videos. However, some report frustrating issue resolution, being directed off-platform, or needing to manage mid-trip repairs. The owner claims to have improved protocols and addressed specific concerns.

Provides a smooth driving experience

Many guests found the RV smooth and easy to drive, spacious, and well-stocked. Conversely, several reported significant mechanical failures (AC, water, battery, power step), poor cleanliness, visible damage (duct tape, broken TVs, loose fixtures), and discrepancies from listing photos. The owner states specific issues have been addressed with a new pre-rental check.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst RV rental experiences I've had. The RV we picked up looked nothing like the listing photos. The condition of the RV was much worse than advertised, with visible duct tape repairs and multiple maintenance issues that should have been addressed before the rental. Throughout our trip, we experienced significant problems, including no working water, no functioning AC during 90+ degree weather, and battery issues that required us to purchase a replacement. We also had to coordinate repairs during our trip, including an oil change and replacement parts, which created additional stress and unexpected expenses. Communication was frustrating. The owner repeatedly directed us to communicate with an RV manager and through outside email addresses rather than handling issues directly through the platform. We spent a significant amount of time trying to get help while dealing with ongoing mechanical and operational problems. What should have been a fun trip turned into time spent troubleshooting, coordinating repairs, and dealing with basic systems that should have been working from the start. I would strongly encourage future renters to thoroughly inspect the RV before departure and verify that all systems are functioning properly.

We had an amazing time renting the 2021 Jayco Greyhawk! Driving it was smooth and easy, and we stayed comfortably throughout our trip. The RV was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the host made sure it was perfectly prepped for us. Communication with the host was fantastic, making the entire experience seamless. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely rent this RV again—can’t wait for our next adventure!

This RV was thrashed. Don't let the photos fool you. Duct tape holding up trim pieces, including shower head. Faucet sink was barely holding on. 1 shattered TV, and the other inoperable. Carplay does not work (listed that it did), window cranks were stripped, screen missing, generator couldn't handle the load of 2 AC/ units, with lights off and nothing plugged in. We also had a fuel issue, where we could not fill up the tank (gas was backfilling into the reservoir), and had a mechanic come fix the issue. RV handed off was messy, and we needed to clean all dishes and go through the cleaning process on our own.

Meet your host, Keegan

Member since 2021

Hi there! We are Keegan and Myverick, and are excited to share our RV with you! We are a former Navy officer and a flight attendant that moved to San Diego for employment but stayed for the amazing quality of life! We love taking on new adventures, and decided to dive in on owning our first RV with a brand new purchase this last year. When we aren't flying somewhere, we love traveling to new places on the open road and experience new food, culture, and people. From national parks to sleepy beach towns on the coast, we are total RV junkies, and look forward to swapping stories with you about your trip. Our Siberian Husky, Hercules, makes all of the trips with us, and has become well-acquainted with the likes of Palm Springs to Big Bear, and Lake Tahoe to Napa! We live local in SD and will be personally assisting in the handoff of renting our 2021 Jayco Coach :). We look forward to helping you experience life and hearing about your adventures soon!
