2022 Thor Rize 18M - Fully equipped and ready to go, camping made easy!

We started in San Diego and went East to the Anza Borrego Desert State Park then north to Pinnacle National Park and west to Big Sur and Dow Rt 1 Pacific Highway along the coast back to San Diego. Camping at state parks along the way. Camper worked great with solar and generator options. Melissa was very responsive with any communication we had.

This was our first experience renting an RV through Outdoorsy and it couldn't have been better! Pinky gave a detailed intro and demo of the RVs features when we picked it up and made sure the RV was in excellent condition. We drove a loop from LA to Las Vegas to Prescott, AZ to Phoenix to Joshua Tree and back to LA. The RV performed flawlessly - we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to maneuver and how good the gas mileage was. We would definitely do this again. Thanks, Pinky!

The van was perfect! Such a great layout for the size. Has all of the amenities to be unsupported off grid but you can park it anywhere around town when you want to stop in for a coffee or a bite while on the road. We will definitely rent again!

We rented this van for a month and embarked on our first true camping adventure, covering an impressive 6,546 miles. The experience was both challenging and rewarding, teaching us a lot about life on the road. Pros: *Outstanding Communication: The owners were fantastic. They were patient and thorough during the booking process, pick-up orientation, and throughout our trip. *Responsive Support: When we encountered a persistent cigarette smoke smell, the owners promptly sent new filters and ozone spray to our location, showcasing their commitment to our comfort. *Well-Maintained Vehicle: The van came with new tires, freshly changed fluids, and was equipped with all the essentials. The linens were washed, instructions were super organized, and the steering wheel was incredibly comfortable. *Compact and Convenient: The van, impressively, fits into a regular car parking spot, making urban navigation a breeze. *Pet-Friendly: We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog along. It made the trip even more special to have our furry family with us. *Beautiful Awning Functionality: The awning was not only beautiful but also highly functional. The built-in lights added a cozy ambiance, and the protection it provided was perfect for all weather conditions. Cons: *Cigarette Smell: Despite efforts, the cigarette smoke odor lingered and affected our trip experience. *Navigation and Tech Issues: The new aftermarket display screen was practically unusable in daylight. Additionally, the car phone holders weren't functional, and the lack of a microphone made hands-free calls difficult. *Sleeping and Kitchen Supplies: We'd recommend using an inflatable mattress topper for the bed and bringing a knife sharpener for the kitchen knives. **Camping Insights: Camping brought us close to nature, with headlamps guiding us through bug-laden nights and cozy sleeping quarters. A simple life with complex challenges, but every mile was a story worth telling. Overall, despite some hiccups, the experience was enriching, and the responsive support from the owners truly made a difference. We look forward to more adventures in the future!
