RecommendationsOur favorite spots to adventure with Capricorn so far have been Joshua Tree National Park for more rugged adventures and the quiet, peaceful Lake Jennings, CA for a quick getaway. She's been on many adventures with friends and renters to cool festivals, Yosemite, surf festivals by the beach, family reunions, and even just parked in a friend's driveway for extended family in town. Capricorn is fabulous for many kinds of adventures and experiences!Other things to noteTo tow - you need a standard 2” ball hitch, towing capacity of 3500 lbs, and a 7-pin connector. For security we provide a hitch lock to keep it in place if you need your car free and an Apple Air-tag for geolocating. We love this little camper and have used it for work trips, peaceful quick getaways, and bigger fully off-grid adventures. Can't say enough great things about this little rig! It was the perfect size for my girlfriend and I to get away for a couple of days up to Big Bear. It had everything we needed and then some!. Everything was exactly as advertised. Mary was super communicative throughout the entire process, from booking a few weeks ago to returning the trailer today. Highly recommend!

Communication was very good. The trailer did make the front of the our car to go up quite considerably. It was a large and heavy 5000 lbs Toyota Land Cruiser. The trailer and the towing car should both be in a perfect horizontal lineup position. The trailer could use anti-sway and weight distribution bars/setup to make it perfectly horizontal for towing. We camped in cold weather for a week. The propane tank was not full, so it only lasted for two days. The battery got very weak as well, so the space heater stopped working, which made some nights very, very cold. If you go dry camping in a cold weather, you should take at least one spare propane tank and a spare battery.

Mary’s answer

This super lightweight camper doesn’t need anything extra or special to tow it. If your car is maintained properly and meets the towing requirements, this camper has no trouble with towing whatsoever. There is no need to bring your own battery or propane tank. We offer two reliable heating options (gas and electric) that both work perfectly. When used correctly, the heating options are very reliable. We give all renters a walkthrough as well as a hard-copy manual on how to work everything. This guest had many self-inflicted issues, particularly with his own towing vehicle. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!

We stayed in Mary's camper and had a lovely time with our daughter. The mattress in the camper was great. We were a little worried about that but it turned out perfect. Mary was very communicative and set up everything when they dropped it off. You should definitely rent this gem.
