5Had a great camping experience at the Sonoma Coast with the Solis. The van was clean, easy to drive, and everything worked as expected. Highly recommend… thanks Dustin!

5I had a wonderful experience with our host Dustin and Trailhead Vans. I was a first-time RV renter and traveled down the CA Central Coast with my 13-year-old son and our dog and had a blast in "Peggy." The pickup process and run-through from Dustin was clear and understandable. I was able to know how to use the features of the van- how to hookup the electricity, drain the grey water and replenish fresh water, how to empty the toilet, and other tips like how to use the pop-up tent and how to manage the van's temperature. It was all very easy and straight forward to follow. A few tips- for the Solis rooftop tent you might want to get an extra mattress pad. My son thought the memory foam pad wasn't quite enough so we got a cheap mattress topper from Marshalls and that worked well. Plan on bringing duffel bags or soft-sided luggage for your gear. There are plenty of spots for storage but it works best if you can be flexible in how you stow away your stuff. Also, you might want to plan on your last night at a full-hookup RV site (or one with a dump site at least). That way you can plan on draining the grey water and replenishing the fresh water before return. There are also some public places where you can do this, but easiest to handle at a campsite if possible.
