5Zachary was the perfect host! His pre-trip comms, RV walkthrough, in trip service, and drop off flexibility were like very few high line providers I’ve dealt with. As for Outdoorsy, I’d give them 2 (3) of 5 as their handling of extended day discounts was never resolved! No fault of Zach yet being my first time using Outdoorsy it will definitely be my last with Outdoorsy!

5Excellent communication. Zach was very responsive and quickly answered all my questions. RV was great - exactly as described. We took it up to Lake Placid for a few days with zero issues.

1⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely frustrating first RV experience — not recommended for new renters This was our first RV trip, and we clearly explained that to Zac from the start. We were traveling a long distance with kids and pets, so we needed good communication and a reliable setup. Unfortunately, we had the opposite. The refrigerator didn’t work, which caused all of our food — milk, meat, and the kids’ meals — to spoil. We had to throw everything away and repurchase it once we arrived. Very stressful and costly. The black and gray tanks were completely emptied, and when we got to our site, we were told to park the RV on a declined slope. That caused the tank sensors to read 1/3 full, even though we hadn’t used anything yet. Zac used this to charge us extra, which felt dishonest. On top of that, the gas pedal would overheat during the day, making it extremely uncomfortable and almost impossible to drive — especially in hot weather. This felt like a serious safety concern. The instructions Zac provides, including photos, were confusing and not helpful. Even campground staff who came to assist us said they made no sense. If you’re not experienced with RVs, you will probably end up needing outside help — or just luck. We even discussed a discount, and at first Zac agreed. But, like everything else, he changed his mind, going back and forth. What first seemed like a kind gesture turned into yet another disappointment. Zac tells you he’ll make everything smooth, but he doesn’t follow through. Too many surprises, too much backtracking, and absolutely not the right experience for first-time RV renters.

5The camper itself was perfect for our camping trip- Had everything we needed and it kept us dry for the 14 hours of rain we encountered one of our camping days. Zach was great throughout the process- We chose delivery and P/U- Both occurred without a hitch and on time- We'll definitely look to rent this camper again!

5I rented the RV on Friday, and the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, he took the time to show us everything about the RV, explaining in detail how everything worked. This was my first time renting an RV, so it was all new to me, but he made sure to go over everything thoroughly. Not only did he explain things clearly, but he also put little labels everywhere to show where things go, which was super helpful for a first-timer like me. I made a mistake during the trip, but unfortunately, I didn’t have cell service where I was, so I couldn’t message him at the time. However, when I explained what happened later, he was incredibly understanding and reassured me that I could’ve reached out if I had signal. The RV itself was perfect! It had everything we needed and worked flawlessly. The shower was amazing, with hot water that was super easy to use, which made the whole experience even better. We stayed from Friday night until Sunday morning, and the generator powered everything the whole time. The RV even has a solar generator, so we didn’t need to hook up to the campsite’s power, but if you wanted to, that option is available as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend renting this RV!
