Highly communicative and helpful

Jared and Jack provide thorough walkthroughs, respond quickly to questions, offer extra amenities (linens, cooking gear, chairs), and are flexible with scheduling. Jack has even provided airport lifts.

Easy to drive and adventure-ready

The Mercedes Sprinter van drives easily, handles well, and fits in standard parking. It offers excellent off-grid power, a robust heater, a comfortable adjustable bed, and strong 4x4 capability for adventures. Minor amenity and occasional cold-weather starting issues noted.

We couldn’t have asked for better hosts than Jared and his father, Jack. From the moment we picked up the van, they were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and thorough in making sure we were prepared for every part of the adventure. They took the time to walk us through everything, answer questions, and make us feel confident hitting the road. The van itself was outstanding—clean, well-equipped, and clearly set up by people who understand what makes a great outdoor getaway. It had everything we needed (and then some) for a comfortable and stress-free trip, whether we were driving, camping, or settling in for the night. Thanks to the preparation and support from Jared and Jack, our trip went off without a hitch. If you’re looking for a reliable, adventure-ready van and hosts who genuinely care about your experience, look no further. We’d rent from them again in a heartbeat and can’t wait for our next adventure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First, I'm so grateful to the hosts who were very kind and granted us an early pickup time as we needed to pick it up as early as possible. The van was easy to drive and we had no problem parking it in busy parking lots (including small beach lots) or getting it on and off the ferries. It was so nice to be able to stop practically anywhere to make lunch and enjoy the scenery! The generator when it kicks on was very quiet; we were even laughing at some other campers who we saw arrive and spend two full hours futzing with their trailer and an insanely loud generator and annoying everyone around them. Meanwhile, all we did was pull up and park without having to disturb any of our neighboring campers. Loved that the bed could go up or down, and it was comfy, although we did bring our own pillows and blankets, so I can't speak to the linens that were provided. The van is well-loved as another reviewer mentioned, and since it's an adventure van I'm certainly not concerned about scrapes or dents at all. However, I do think the interior could use some extra detailing in the dash, cupholders, etc. between users. (Toilet/shower was perfectly clean, which is obviously the most important thing.) Dishsoap, TP, pots/pans, and new sponges were kindly provided. Only other thing I can think of that would have been helpful is some extra hooks added in the van to have somewhere to hang toiletry cases/clothes/towels while parked. And a quick-reference manual in the glove box would have been helpful for if you forget how to adjust something or need a reminder of how to read water levels, etc.

Enjoyed the experience, but the van was missing some nice to have amenities. There was no knife, cutting board, basic spices (salt/pepper), paper towels (even though they have a paper towel holder), or trash bag. The van is showing its age and there were some things that the host said they'd look into including a broken vent and leaky faucet. The heater and battery life where great and made for comfortable winter camping.

Having a van during this year has been like having a super power. Being able to travel safely, and not worrying about where you are going to find supplies, or a restroom is no longer something you have to consider nearly as much. It's been a lot of fun to go snowboarding and visiting the great outdoors, as I've found this is one of the best ways to travel. You can pretty much park anywhere a normal rig goes, but then you have all of your amenities with you. Including solar power and a comfortable living/sleeping area. I'm a fan of this silver van.
