Meet Captain Sparkle VanMoose
Some rigs get their names from spec sheets. Captain Sparkle VanMoose got hers on a camping trip in Colorado, christened by a crew of kids with excellent taste. She's a Winnebago Solis 59P in deep maroon — built on a RAM ProMaster chassis — and she's ready to carry your crew to places that deserve a good name too.
Compact enough for forest roads, tall enough to stand inside, and packed with everything you need for a real Pacific Northwest adventure. Sleep in the full-size padded pop-top up top, and stretch out on the queen-size bed below — the rear bench folds completely flat to give you a proper night's sleep. The bench also doubles as a comfortable lounge seat with two safety belts — giving the van six seatbelts total, so the whole crew travels safely. Smaller adventurers (under 5') can claim a bonus sleeping spot with the front seat air mattress, which bridges the cab seats for a snug third sleep surface.
You also get a wet bath, two-burner stove, 12V refrigerator, solar, shore power, water heater, and cabin heater. Whether you're chasing ferries, switchbacks, or alpine sunrises — the Captain is ready.
What's included• Basic cookware and utensils
• Set of 6 plates and utensils
• Dish soap and dish towel
Recommendations• Olympic Peninsula:
• Salt Creek Recreation Area (near Port Angeles) — bluff-top sites over the Strait of Juan de Fuca with tide pools below. One of the most scenic spots out there.
• Sequim Bay State Park — Sequim is the "banana belt" of Washington, tucked in the Olympic rain shadow, so it stays noticeably drier and sunnier than the rest of the coast. A great hedge if the forecast looks wet elsewhere.
• Dosewallips State Park (Brinnon) — river meets Hood Canal, resident elk, and clam/oyster digging nearby.
• Port Townsend (Fort Worden / Point Hudson) — waterfront camping steps from a fun historic downtown.
• Lake Crescent — a deep, glacially clear blue lake perfect for a paddle, with the easy Marymere Falls hike right there.
• Lake Quinault — rainforest lake with a historic lodge and some of the biggest old-growth trees around.
Other things to noteNo smoking inside the van, please and thank you!
Feel free to bring your furry friend, but let us know ahead of time so we can throw in an additional a seat cover and Rover friendly towel.
No beach driving or off-roading (poor girl doesn't have it in her and you'll get stuck or ruin some expensive things to repair).

Great experience. Reis is excellent at communicating and providing any needed info. He helped us with navigating our route to the Olympic Penninsula and back with great stopovers on the way back. The Captain is in great shape and had everything we needed. We used the main bed as well as the pop up tent, very comfortable and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!

Reis was very thorough in all his communication with his camper. We had a very emjoyable time taking it to Lake Chelan. It's very easy to use and perfect for the two of us. We plan to rent again in the future.

Reis and the van were great. The van ran very smooth, and was comfortable. It was suitable for me, my wife and 7 year old. Reis was also very helpful with things we needed as we flew in from out of town. Highly recommend!! Thanks for everything!!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

A.

We will provide links to several videos that go over the different components of the vehicle one to two weeks prior to your rental. There is also a comprehensive walk through that will take place upon your pick-up.

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

We're a block from Alaska Junction, served by the RapidRide C Line, Routes 50, 57, and 128. Flying in? Take Link light rail to Int'l District/Chinatown, hop the First Hill Streetcar one stop west to Pioneer Square, walk to Pier 50, and ride the Water Taxi over. The free Route 773 shuttle drops you at the Junction. Let us know where you're coming from — happy to help!

I grew up in the Seattle area and love to be outdoors in all types of weather and settings! I’m happy to share Captain Sparkle Vanmoose (my Class B Winnebago Solis - named by my niece & friends on a camping trip) with other fellow adventurers. It’s a beautiful world, full of beautiful places…
