The RV worked great. We had lots of snow on the trip. It handled it well. It was also very cold out, but it was toasty warm inside during the night.

My partner and I had rented a 2023 Winnebago Solis NPF edition from Reverie Camp Co. for 8 days this past November to drive down the Oregon and California coast while spending Thanksgiving in San Francisco. Reverie Camp Co. is operated by Meghan and Joe.

I appreciate that it was frustrating to have a random beeping from the van during your trip. This was not an issue before your pickup and was quickly resolved after your return. Once alerted to the issue, we were constantly in contact with you while gathering input from RAM mechanics to troubleshoot it remotely. Counter to their advice, you chose not to stop at an auto shop or store to get a free OEM scan performed. This would have taken just a minute but would enable us to solve this issue within seconds. Additionally, the battery is accessible from inside the cabin of the vehicle and has a quick release, which was a viable option that would have stopped the beeping as well. We went above and beyond to solve this as best we could from afar, but you chose to live with it, and instead ask for a refund on your rental even after we proactively gave you a partial refund to make up for the inconvenience. We provided extensive chat logs to Outdoorsy who declined your refund claim based on proof you were provided with options, yet failed to act on them. We also provided them with our Ring camera footage of your return drop-off. Your partner didn't arrive with you, so she missed the entire first half of the conversation where apologies were made for your experience, she arrived later, in a separate vehicle, during the actual walkthrough, where my husband made a verbal note of a light scratch (that was noted as pre-existing on pickup paperwork). He didn't blame you for it, nor did we try to charge you for it, so I am not sure why you bring that up. And yes, we provided some suggestions as to where you could dump your tank, but also sent you an RV dump station website for additional options and told you to always check to make sure they are open before you go, because some are seasonal or may be out of service. When you stopped "hearing back from us" it was after you gladly accepted the partial refund and then two weeks later, came back to ask for more. A weird, disheartening rental experience for both of us it seems.
