Meet your host, Brian

We love to travel and now that we're retired, have time to do so as well. We're new to the RV world but so far have found it to be a great way to travel for the two of us and our puppy, Harry. We are lifelong Maryland residents (and both of our kids live nearby as well) who have visited 49 of the 50 states (Alaska, here we come). We love the Blue Ridge Mountains, autumn travel in the Berkshires, and one of our first and still one of our favorite places is Acadia National Park, home of Bar Harbor. We've done road trips on Rt. 66 and traveled from Memphis to New Orleans on Highway 61, the Blues Highway. We won't be using the RV full-time, so when we're not traveling we decided to make it available to others with wanderlust as well.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.Are linens and towels provided?
A.
Please bring your own linens, towels & pillows. The bed is a non-standard size but can easily be made up with linens for a queen or king-sized bed.

Q.What are the regular pickup and return times?
A.
We offer pickups at 11am and returns by 3pm

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The coach has a diesel engine and has a generator. The generator uses fuel from the main coach fuel tank, so if you will be running the generator, make sure you have enough fuel in the tanks. There is a water pump on board that must be ON for water to flow. This can be selected at the main touchscreen for the coach. The water heater is "tankless" so it will take 60-90 seconds for hot water to flow. The HVAC requires either a 30 amp electrical connection OR that the generator is running.

Q.There is a propane tank on board. What is it used for?
A.
The propane provides fuel for the furnace, the 2 burner cooktop, and for the water heater. When driving we recommend that the switch that controls the propane be left in the OFF position. When you arrive at your evening's destination, the ON/OFF switch for the propane is located near the connections for electric & plumbing.
