About this RV

THIS RV IS FOR RENTAL AND USE ONLY WITHIN 100 miles of Sevierville, TN. This includes all of the Great Smoky Mountain National park.

Visiting the Smoky Mountains? This is a perfect-sized camper for you and your family to drive and explore. You will easily be able to navigate the mountains in this Mercedes diesel powered mini cruiser! It handles like a van and gets 15-17 miles per gallon!

My wife and I are teachers and we travel with our 13 and 10 year old children part of the year. We rent to families wanting to visit our beautiful home town in the Smoky Mountains on their vacations the remaining part of the year.

This RV is a 2007 Gulf Stream Vista mini cruiser, it is NOT super-wide like a lot of the newer motor homes. If you are new to driving an RV, this will feel like driving a large van. You can cook (stove top, microwave, or convection oven), brew a K-cup of coffee, take a hot shower, and watch TV (we have 2, one for the kids in the front and one for the adults in the back. :) You can run the generator and boon-dock or hook-up to power/water at a camp ground easily.

We recently (June of 2018) installed a solar charging system and new deep cycle batteries. This will allow campers who want to camp in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which has a strict generator policies and NO CAMPGROUNDS have electrical hook-ups, to keep plenty of power while they camp. In summer of 2019 we upgraded the AC unit to 15K btu Dometic unit. Every summer, I have the RV inspected by Mercedes of Knoxville and diligently maintain the vehicle. While it is a 2007, it has low mileage (55,000) and the RV is in fantastic condition (see our reviews).

We keep the RV stocked with DVD movies, board-games, towels, pillows, bed linens, blankets, utensils, cookware, first aid supplies, ect. There are several USB charging stations in the RV to keep you phones and iPads charged (even while not connected to campground power). Pretty much the only things you will need to bring are: family, food, and your sense of adventure.

This is BY FAR the best way to experience the Smokys! This was our first time RVing, and we will definitely rent again

As others have said, the RV was exactly as described - all you need to bring is your food. There’s a lot of attention to detail, making the RV super functional and comfortable. For example - lil bungee cords that secure the TV/coffee maker/stuff in the medicine cabinet. There wa…

Terry was great from the interaction when I was doing research. When we got there to pick up the RV he was very thorough going through everything I needed to know. I had never driven an RV before. He had a notebook that had everything he reviewed with me. Terry was so helpful and quickly answered questions. I would recommend Terry and his RV to anyone.

Terry and Sara were awesome to work with. They took extra time to go over all the ins and outs of the RV. They had great communication and went above and beyond in every aspect! We will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to stay in the Great Smoky Mountains! Thanks for making this a great family trip!

This was my first RV rental, and I can't image it going any better. Terry and Sara have a fantastic RV. Terry was quick with communication throughout the rental process, and he took the time to explain everything when we picked it up. The RV was equipped with everything we needed, which was a complete surprise for me. Even though we brought a few camping supplies, we really only needed to get some food and drinks. I highly recommend this RV to anyone for their trip in the Smokies!

Terry was friendly and knowledgeable about the RV and as soon as we met I could tell that he was passionate about giving us a great experience and took great care of the RV. He gave us the full tour, pointed out a few things that we would likely forget and made sure we were comfortable with everything before sending us on our way. Upon return we were met with the same passion and he even gave us some tips on what to do on our last day in the area. Overall it was a great experience and we had an amazing vacation in the Smokies! Thanks Terry and Sara!
