2015 Airstream International
Meet Buttercup, my 23foot Airstream International. It sleeps 6 and tows like a dream.
Included in your rental:
Portable solar panel
Various camp games like Yahtzee and Uno
Kid friendly DVDs
Lanterns
Silverwear, knives, bottle & can openers, spatulas, matches, cups, plates, bowels, Dutch oven, fry pan, kettle, pour over coffee cone, skewers ... the kitchen things I take with me.My trailer is NOT available for Burning Man.Nervous about towing and backing up a trailer? I offer an optional add-on of my tow vehicle, a 2018 Ford Expedition featuring pro-trailer backup assist and set up with a weight distribution anti-sway hitch.Unfamiliar with trailers? A few things I have learned:
1. Power: Battery power is not the same as having hook-ups. The AC will not run unless you are connected to 30A power. If you run the heater, microwave or inverter (TV or blow-drying hair) you will need a generator to recharge the batteries. The solar + battery will power your lights, water pump and ceiling fans for as long as there is sunshine but it will not recharge a dead battery. The refrigerator will run off propane, but will turn off when the battery is dead.
2. Gray & Black water: The gray water tank is 35 gallons. This is enough for your family of 4 to take one shower once or to wash off feet and hands nightly for 4 nights. Do your dishes outside. Run the warm-up shower water into the black tank.
3. Driving. Did you know the speed limit through California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah while towing is 55mph? And most mountain passes are 35-45mph when going down hill? And you’ll need to fill up the gas every 250 miles? Don’t rely on your internet map to gauge driving time. 500 miles at 55mph takes at least 9h 15min plus stops. Enjoy the ride and take your time.
4. Experience: There is nothing so magical as your kids playing outside while you sip a cup of coffee or wine from a camp chair. There are few distractions, they can be kids for a few days and you can sit back and read a book. Want to explore? Leave your trailer set up and go find that experience a few miles down the road. And at the end of the day you get a good nice sleep because the beds are comfortable.Interested in a one way rental? Me too! And for the right trip I would provide generous discounts. Availability will be based on my kids school schedule and will need to be planned at least 4 months in advance. Message me and we can work out the details.

I am a single mom of 3 beautiful girls. Camping brings out the best in all of us. My favorite memory is from Mammoth. My 3 kids were swinging in the hammock while my mom and I were enjoying a hot cup of coffee and planning the rest of the day. The simplicity and beauty of the Airstream mirrors exactly why I keep taking it on adventures. I love being out in nature without distractions and letting my kids be kids. I hope you can experience that as well. The most scenic and memorable places generally do not have electricity or water at the site. I am well set up for "dry" camping and I am more than happy to assist you in a memorable and fun camping experience. Follow us on instagram @buttercup.and.unicorn
