Even though it’s located in a fairly small town, it has loads of great exhibits where the little ones can do things like excavate dinosaur bones, explore a climbing net, and try on clothes from exciting periods in our nation’s history. For summer visits, you might also want to take them to cool off at the waterpark in Brookings. It’s an indoor waterpark though, so it’s actually suitable for swimming year-round.
