Rocky is a 2004 Rockwood by Forest River Premier Series M-2307. Very comfortable and spacious. Bonus -- all systems are operational! That means you have a working sink, gas range, refrigerator, microwave, heater, heated king and queen mattresses (really!), and air conditioning. We also include a coffee pot. With 2 seating areas in the camper (that can be converted to beds) and privacy curtains for each slide-out bed, your group can make the space you need. There's also an exterior fold-out table and working awning if you want to take the cooking outside, even during the rain.A full-width storage compartment carries Rocky's essentials, and leaves room for your storage needs, too.Your tow vehicle needs a 2-inch ball hitch and 7-pin electric hookup. If you camp without an electrical hook-up, pack lanterns and/or flashlights: the camper does not run lights on battery power.Rocky is ready! He'll bring the comforts you may need for a truly memorable getaway. What's includedWe provide a fitted sheet on each slide-out bed, exterior and interior rugs, awning lights, outdoor rug and mat, interior and exterior extension cords, power cord to plug in to electrical service, drinking water hose to connect to a park's supply, gray water hose to connect to sink drain system, 5-gallon hand-held gray water tank to dump and rinse before you return, spare tire, tools to operate jacks and lifting mechanism.See Add-Ons section to bring a dog, rent a propane tank, camping chairs, bike rack, and the dreaded cleaning fee. RecommendationsStart with the basics to ensure comfort for the campers-less-traveled: find a park that provides water and electricity, and either has a dump station or a sewer connection at the lot you're renting.STRONG RECOMMENDATION: use this camper with a campground site that has electric hookup.Additional items you'll need to supply: bed linens, cooking pots/pans, plates, and other eating utensils as needed.Honestly, Rocky plays nice just about anywhere. He opens up for nice breezes, zips up tight when it's raining, and can keep you warm or cool to your liking. Introverts, extroverts, and the vacation lazy can find the comfort they desire!Other things to note$50 additional per house-trained dog. No cats or any other type of pet.Rocky is over his party days so no festivals or party scenes. Sorry, my dude.$75 cleaning fee if Rocky isn't returned the way he left.Plan on 45 minutes, give or take, to be trained on the how-to of correctly opening up, operating, and closing down Rocky.

Meet your host, Josh

I grew up camping as a YMCA summer camp kid. It was low rent -- the counselors were teens with trucks, a few "tents", and a lighter or two. We had a blast, even though pillows were seen as a luxury. I think I got pink eye about half a dozen times while camping in fields with these guys.
Now I love a little more lux with my camping! I like to control the indoor temps, cook outside, hike, and feel comfortable while I'm camping. My family is getting on board with camping, which makes it even better.

The pop up camper was very spacious and clean. The heated mattress pads helped to keep us warm in this cold weather. We would rent from Josh again. He was very attentive to our needs.

Pop up worked great! My son and I had a great time camping. Josh is an excellent host. He was very communicative, thoughtful and easy going. I needed an electrical hookup adapter and he found it quickly.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL!

When we picked up the camper, Josh spent a lot of time showing us how to set it up, as we were pop-up newbies. He was very systematic and detailed, and we had a smooth setup when we arrived at our campground. He was also available via phone and messaging for a couple of questions we had. The trailer pulled smoothly with my 2020Pathfinder and was easy to maneuver. We spent 3 days up in Northern Minnesota and really enjoyed the trip. The camper was clean, the beds comfortable and the heat works well! We didn't use the stove or a/c but the microwave was really handy for heating up my water for coffee in the mornings. It is an older model so you need to hand crank the top, but that is not a problem. Thanks, Josh, you were great to work with.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Very flexible, depending on work and family schedule.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
*No toilet, no sewage. Yay! *Freshwater connects via a hose and filter included with the rental. *Gray water (sink water) drains from an easily accessed port on the side of the camper. Drain the gray water to either a 5-gallon container for emptying at the dump station, or use the gray water hose to connect to the park's sewer. *Plug the RV's electrical supply cord to the park's power pole at your lot for full power. Connect another plug to the A/C plug and prepare to get real chill(ed).

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
YES! For you first-timers, opening and closing the RV is simple. Turning on and off the systems is simple, too. I'll walk you through it step by step and give you helpful pointers along the way. I'll be available via phone, text, or video as well. Don't worry, you'll do great and have a great time!

Q.Is the camper easy to tow?
A.
YES! Make sure your towing vehicle can tow the weight, has either a 2-inch hitch receiver or a 2" ball, and has a 7-pin receptacle near the tow hitch. If you're not sure, I can help walk you through it. The best bet is to take these items I've listed and visit an auto parts store. They can walk out to your vehicle and take a look. Utilize Google for your vehicle's towing capacity.
